Unfortunately this product was no good for me! I must have been in the small percentage of people that the aid would not fit into the ear off properly, according to there advertisement that is! But this I am only guessing at. Why you may ask do I think this, because when it was inserted in my ear all the Bl@*dy thing would do was whistle, even on the lowest setting... Sorry MaxiSound not impressed at all. Would have given it No stars, but Amazon would not let me!!!!!

High Sensitivity Microphone picks up sounds clearly & cleanly. Battery Door makes it easy to install Type 312 Zinc Air batteries will last approximately 280 hours. Easy to operate volume wheel offers a maximum output of over 116db. The MaxiSound Digital is a small, ready-to-wear instrument. It sits completely within the ear canal for most people and comes with 3 soft silicone tips (1 each of S, M, L) to fit most ear canals comfortably without the expense or delays of custom molding. This one-size fits all model offers a cost-effective, convenient alternative that fits discreetly in the ear like expensive custom molded models do. The FREQ range covered is between 200 Hz to 8000 Hz, for a mild to moderately severe hearing loss. The processor does all the work inside the amplifier; it is preset to process the sound to the standards of a digital amplifier by increasing the softer sounds of 50 dB and under and decreasing the louder sounds over 80 dB. The toggle switch can be used to reduce the lows, giving more highs. This is effective in noisy areas such as restaurants, group meetings, sporting events. The background noise is subdued and controlled to better hear personal conversations more clearly.
