I just received this shaver for Christmas and am extremely disappointed. Two brand new AA batteries lasted about 10-15 minutes before the shaver began to lose steam. I couldn't even get through a whole sweater! Even when working at full power, it collected only a fraction of the fuzzies and pills compared to shavers I have used in the past. I tried this product on several different sweaters, all with lots of pills. This thing did nothing but hum and provide a little exercise. The two critical reviewers that felt the 5 star ratings were "homegrown" were likely correct!! I will now try the Izumi, which has hopefully accurate reviews.Customer Review: clothes shaver

This shaver is not very good at all for the price. It takes lint off easily removed items, but for sweat pants and sweaters.....not at all. Not really satisfied!!!
