I purchased two of these to get three separate devices in three different rooms connected to the internet. I was a bit weary of whether this approach would work or if it would confuse them. Thankfully, it works wonderfully - I have one connected to my modem/router, and then a desktop, xbox 360, and slingbox solo each connected in three different rooms. These are advertised for up to 85Mbps transfers but even on my 20Mbps home connection the units connected via slinglink max out around 6-8Mbps, kind of disappointing. I know it is not a limitation of having four connected at the same time because my speed tests were done with only two connected. The units work very well and would definitely be 5 stars if they provided even close to the advertised speed. That said, they are very reliable and I never have a dropped connection. This thing couldn't be easier to get up and running - truly plug & play. Don't plug it in next to anything with a dimmer on it though! It caused my touch-sensitive dimming light fixture to fluctuate wildly between off, low, medium and high whenever the Slinglink was sending data. Quite a light show! Moving it to a different plug worked. A little disappointed at the throughput - I'm getting about 9-11 Mbps (enough for video streaming though).Customer Review: Easy to install and does the job

I am using the Slinglink to connect my Slingbox to my router. Installation was a snap but beware where do you plug the units. You may need to try different outlets to get the best performance as they seem to be affected by the routing of the house wiring.
