My son and his young family are in Hungary indefinitely. Television is really bad especially for young children - just inane cartoons. The Slingbox solo and the slingbox link allow them to watch my television, AT&T Uverse in real time and all our recorded programs through the slingbox website. I gave it to them for their 2010 birthdays & he says it is the best gift ever. I found the slinglink worked here, even though the computer and TV were not on the same circuit.Customer Review: Incredible ... anyone can do this!

This is one of those products that truly delivers. I instantly connected my son's XBOX 360 to our high speed cable internet with one of the sling media units (he had been complaining about lag time.) He is thrilled with the improved performance. My Dish Network 622 receiver was instantly connected. This was such a joy to work with! No software or set up with my computer -- never did anything more than connect a few cables and cords. Great job!Customer Review: It just works!

I was skeptical that this would actually work as advertised but I decided to give it a try. Let me just tell you this thing is completely idiot proof and works out of the box. Literally all I had to was take it out of the package and plug it into the wall. The whole setup was less than five minutes. I connected my slingbox to this and it has been streaming for a few weeks now from the U.S. to Israel and it works great. Very pleasantly surprised!Customer Review: Works as advertised.

Works just like advertised. It took about 5 minutes to set up (the biggest challenge was finding a free electrical outlet near my computers/network devices.)
I haven't run an official speed test, but my connection on my second desktop computer (on a different floor in my home and presumably on a different electrical circuit) is much faster than the previous wireless G connection I was using.
Highly recommended.

I purchased this product for use with my satelite receiver. I don't have a land line phone but istead use broadband VOIP. The dish company charges every month if the receiver is not connected to phone line or broadband. This thing simply works. Connect 1 of them to your broadband router and then connect the other to your receiver. Don't forget to plug it in. It's really that simple, and It works. Very happy with this product.
