I can't believe that I finally found out about this. I have been putting off getting my 360 online through a wireless connection because I have heard that it can be slow and drop connections from time to time. If you don't want to put up with stuff like that, this is perfect for you.
Be warned, you still need a router so that you can share your internet connection with more than just your computer, but you can find one for 30 bucks and up to go with this (I found a four port unit that was wireless so that I could finally get my PSP online as well! Can you tell I'm new at this?).
This unit is around 20 dollars less than the 360's wireless adapter and it works perfectly. Fast, easy, perfect internet connection. I just wish I had known of these when I got my XBOX LAST YEAR.
If you have been putting off getting your 360 online like I was, wait no more! This thing is perfect for you. Now I can go back to getting my butt handed to me in Halo 3 by some teenage scum...

I had my Slingbox classic sitting in a box in my closet after my move from my last house 2 years ago. I remembered having to drill holes in the walls to make my router connect to my slingbox via CAT5 cables. I remembered it was great to be able to watch live TV (I.E. CNN) while paying bills on my PC (you can have a little TV in the corner of your monitor while on the net). When I saw this product I thought it couldn't possibly be this easy to set up. Well everyone...it really is that easy. You connect one Slinglink into your router, the other Slinglink into your Slingbox, and you are done. I installed the newest Slingbox software from Slingmedia.com and Viola! I was done. There is no shutter of the TV image at all even though the software is loaded on a wireless PC. This product is perfect for creating an internet connection via a regular electric wall outlet. The Turbo is sold as a pair; one gets plugged into a wall outlet near your router, then connected to the router via a regular Cat 5 cable. The other gets plugged into any other outlet in your home, then connected to whatever device that needs an internet connection.
I highly recommend the Turbo if you need wired internet connectivity in a room that is too far away for you to connect to your router. There are no passwords or networks to set up. It is very easy to just plug them in and they work immediately.
I found this product to be the best value when comparing other devices (Linksys, Netgear). Also, it provides an internet connection for any device, not just the Slingbox.

Plugged it in and it worked... period! I am pretty sure it is magic though b/c I can't understand why it works, it just does... beautifully! The picture quality is the same as when I had a wired setup (actually seems a littl better but think that is the slingbox software update).
My setup has both boxes on the same circuit so I did not encounter the problems that a few reviewers have had but imagine that is important. One thing that might be helpful to know too is that both ends must be plugged directly into the wall rather than a power strip. This was not a big deal for me but might take some rearranging for others!Also, as far as I can tell it has had no effect on my internet speed or reliability (some indicated that their connection speed increased?).

I opened the box, plugged one in by the modem and connected the ethernet cable and plugged the other across the house and plugged another ethernet into my XBOX. Worked instantly. My house is about 4 years old and the wiring is new so I had no problems in that area. I would recommend getting this one port version and saving your money and just get a cheap switch for more ports. It works exactly like a wired connection.
I use it to watch Netflix on the XBOX and it works perfectly. I would recommend this for anyone who has had wireless router troubles or just hates dealing with all of the security issues. This made my life so much easier.
