Frankly, this product is over featured for me. I was not looking for something to enable TV on Cell phone for me. I mostly work from home and was looking to have something which enabled me to watch TV while working or sometimes to watch TV in bed (without buying one). I do not own a TV (I only have a projector). So this really fit the bill.
My feedback:
Good quality (both picture and sound)
On my home LAN consumes 2.5-3.5 kbps (kilo bits)
I've tried to connect it from the public network and it worked like a breeze (enable UPnP for it)
Very easy to setup.
I did not figure out how it works till i bought it and configured it. For those who are curious:
Its got it's own tuner (which does not let you watch paid channels like HBO etc).
But this device can also be setup to sit between your cable box and TV. So it can unicast (it does not broadcast).

Who knew it could be so easy? I have this hooked up to my Xbox 360 (link to Elite system) via component cables. Now, hold on a sec. I don't play video games over the Slingbox, that would be an awful, laggy experience. No, my Xbox 360 is a media center extender for my Windows Vista Ultimate-based media center PC, so I can watch all my recorded shows in other rooms, and now (with the Slingbox), on the road. It's not transmitting a hi definition signal, mind you, but it is transmitting the best resolution it can for my modem speeds, and I'm quite satisfied with the picture quality, even on my mobile device (an HTC Mogul with Sprint). A great way to keep up on your shows when you travel as much as I do!Customer Review: A MUST HAVE device...but not for Cable Card users.

Bad news first, if you are one of us that uses a Cable Card via your cable provider, them know that Singbox Pro will NOT Work with it. You will need to call your cable company and get a cable set-top box receiver. Make sure that if you do subscribe to High Def. programing that you get one of these and make sure it has component connection. In addition, you will need the HD connection from Singmedia. Might at welll get them at the same time. HDMI connection via your cable box will NOT WORK. That is it as far as the bad news goes, the rest is all OUTSTANDING. I love the device because I love to surf the web in my bedroom and always wanted a tv in bed...now I have one and it work EVERYWhere. So you yourself a favor and get one of the MUST haves for us Tech mofo's. Highly Recommanded device!!!!!Customer Review: Awesome!!!

I bought this product because, as it stated on the side of the box, it was MAC ready. Well it wasn't. So I jumped over to Windows on my wonderful little Intel Powerbook and I have to say that the software that came with this device was the first decent piece of code I have seen on the Windows side in a LONG time! Setup was as simple as could be and the picture was great.
It is deceptive that they say that it is Mac compatible but it is coming (very soon) and I imagine if Sling Media could write a decent program for XP the Mac version should be no different. I also wish that the HD cables were already released. I am tired of taking my entertainment center apart every month for new gadgets!
All in all... this is an amazing product. Highest rating!

Had my sites set on getting the Slingbox Pro SB200-100 for quit a while.
I missed an Amazon promotion saving another 20 but got with free shipping for 201.00.
Great box - as advertised quickest setup of anything I have plugged in yet - no more than 5 minutes tops. Satellite tv was great via the box on local lan. I did have some minor issues setting up cable - the scan would not happen. I power cycled the box once and now everthing works 100%. Very kool to watch another channel on laptop - crystal clear.
Remote is a bit slow and have seen choppy due to corporate firewall/proxy - But not thru firewall works fine.
I would recomend for placeshifting - recomend the PRO box for the multiple inputs. Neat little toy - This Thing ROCKS.
