Customer Review: They are pretty decent for cheap headphones
Summary: 3 Stars

These headphones are alright for the cost (around [...] bucks) but I think the Skull candy INK'D Ear buds are better. First off it took awhile for me to get theses but that was alright considering the fact I got free shipping. When I finally got it looked so sick (awesome) in that package I quickly open it up to try it out. It came with the omnipotent three size ear tips cups and a little soft baggy for the spare tips (well that's what I used if for). It LOOKED awesome but when I grabbed it and put it my ear it fitted OK, not good ,not great ,but ok. I might not be normal but I think I have deep ear canals and I like to shove ear buds in. well with this kind it just didn't go in far enough ,the cord would simply hit my ear before I could get in comfortably and would fall out ever 20 minutes or so :(. The sound was pretty decent pretty clear and precise, it was really good at blocking out outside noise (when they where in right and had a seal in my ear) it has decent bass too (all i realy care about since im a metal head (GO FFDP!!) . After about 2 days of use the part that keeps the ear tip on and the metal ring (shown in the pictures) fell off...-_- so with a whole mess of super glue (and much gluing my finger together :) I got it back together. in all I would say these are good headphones (for the price) because even with that part falling off it lasted me a good 7 months (with CONSTANT use).If you have deep ear canals I would suggest you get some ink'd buds its cheaper (looks cooler I think) and just as good (except it doesn't fall out) but if you have your heart set on these I hope you enjoy them and I wish much luck in all your future endeavors Etc. etc...(Legal endeavors I hope)

P.S wow i wrote allot ^('.')^(>'.')><('.'<)v('.')v GO ME!

After my pair of shure headphones died, after about 2.5-3 yrs of use, I didn't have the funds at the time to spend 100 bucks on a good pair of head phones this time around, so I opted to get some decently priced Skullcandy in ear head phones.
I had this pair for about 6 months, and I used them about ten hours a week, and the one side is already gone, and I do not even listen to my music loud.
I used them when i worked out, maybe it had something to do with sweat or moisture? But who honestly wants to fiddle with a cord until they get sound in both ears, not me.
Also the volume control on the cord was convenient when I had a song that was of loud quality on my ipod, but if you accidental hit it while moving about the volume could change during your work out, only making it a frustration when both hands are being used holding weights.
All in all if a pair of 30 dollar head phones are going to die every 6 months in 2.5 yrs I would end up spending 150 dollars.I might has well saved up and invested in the more expensive pair at 100 dollars and saved myself 50 bux, and all the trips to the store.

Customer Review: Great but not for long 8/

I bought these headphones at Bestbuy because i had so many good things i had heard about SKULLCANDY. when i got them out of the package and plugged them in.....i got goosebumps they fit peerfectly in my ear and the sound quality was fantastic!

I have now had them 2 months and i am very sad to say that they are broken i didnt treat them them like a baby but i also didnt beat the crap out of them AKA average daily abuse the problem that i had with is connection i believe the connection of the wires has come undone and every time i tilt my ipod it cuts out in either the left or right earbud(you never know which one)i ruled out that it was my ipod as i plugged in several different headsets and it was fine again

So all in all these headphones are pretty decent if you just listen to them an hour or 2 every day or if you are going to keep them at the computer(BE DELICATE WITH THEM) so dont wrap them up around your ipod to where it could pull on the wires(thats what i did)but generally i would recommend these earbuds.

Customer Review: Save your money

Having been an avid user of Skullcandy for the past year and a half, I was more than eager to try their other headphone/earbud products. This is my first purchase other than the Ink'd earbuds and I have to say save your money and go for the $16 Ink'd earbuds. For me , these earbuds don't cut it. While the Ink'd required you to only turn your volume up to a bare minimum for clear awesome sound, these require you turn your volume up a bit more, even with the volume on the wires turned up all the way. The cable is a bit too long and can easily become snagged on something and ripped out of your ears. The cable is also very thin and more than likely, when caught on something, to rip apart easily. The sound of the Ink'd buds sounds clear and incredible, while on these, the sound presented is pretty generic and nothing special. If you listen to either of these sets, you can totaly tell the difference. I also have the Hesh brand headphones and am going to purchase the Skullcrusher set. I recommend you stick with the cheaper Ink'd buds than these things.

Customer Review: Not bad for the price.
Summary: 3 Stars

The sound on these ear buds is really nice. It even has good bass (yes, on earbuds). To make a long story short; these earbuds are a good bang for your buck. They sound good, they look nice, they feel comfortable, and they're less than $20! If you're looking for decent quality sounding, outside noise reducing ear buds; these are for you.

I purchased another set of these headphones sometime last year. A few months ago the sound started acting up and I was only able to hear sound from one ear bud. So I would say the only problem with these earbuds is the life expectancy. Maybe they were just my old headphones, maybe not. For less than $20 bucks I was willing to give them another chance.

PS: Just don't buy the white Skullcandy earbuds. The quality of them is the same as any other color, I'm sure, but the rubber white part starts to turn yellow after a while even if you don't touch them with dirty hands. So I would say buy the white buds at your own risk. ;)
