Customer Review: First earbuds that don't hurt my ears
Summary: 4 Stars

I had given up with earbuds altogether. Owing I guess to small ears, earbuds were simply painful to wear. I could handle about 20 minutes of music before I had to simply quit - they literally made my ears ache. The standard ipod ones were some of the worst. Skullcandy's Smokin' Buds to the rescue. Using the smallest of the rubber adapters provided, I found I could comfortably wear them for long periods without any discomfort. They fit nicely in my ear canal, provide a good seal that emliminates a great deal of ambient noise, and overall sound good. They are stylish and very compact. There are only two drawbacks - the cord and the bass. The cord is flat and very light, like a rubber linguine noodle, and it has a tendency to be springy and can sometimes rub against your face or bunch up. It's simply not heavy enough to fall like a standard cord. It's a very minor issue however and I supposed the upside is that there's less weight on your ears. The real and only significant problem is the lack of bass. Even for earbuds the bass on these is pretty lacking. I compensated a bit by changing the equalizer settings on my ipod, but don't expect deep base. Still, these earbuds are a Godsend for someone like me that wanted to enjoy the ease of using compact earbuds like everyone else. I would definitely purchase them again and highly recommend the product.

Customer Review: well... i didnt pay much
Summary: 4 Stars

good cheap pair of headphones. couple conditions though.

if you want really good sound quality, you probably shouldnt be expecting to pay 20 bucks. but they do beat the sound of the apple ones and many others ive heard. be careful with the wires, mine freyed and eventually both sides just stopped working. but on the other hand i got another pair, so you know they have to be at least good for the price. they are very comfortable, but you have to try the different sizes to make them not fall out. thats probably the problem of the dumbasses who say you cant move wearing them.

im not a freak about sound quality, but i know these are good for the price. you just have to be careful with them, you cant really just shove them into your pocket. and DONT wrap them around your ipod while they are plugged in, unless you want only one ear working after a week of having them

Customer Review: Great Earbuds for The Price
Summary: 4 Stars

I got these earbuds because I had a nice pair of noise canceling headphones, but those were getting annoying to carry around with my iPod, so these are basically my on-the-go earbuds. The sound quality (and specifically the bass) are phenomenal considering what I paid for these. The size is obviously really nice for portability. In fact, now that I am waiting for my headphones to get fixed, I am using these with my computer, and the quality is pretty great. Obviously these aren't the best sound quality out there, but for the price I would argue that they are. The only problem is that if you're moving a lot or eating while having these in, you will hear it for sure, since the earbuds sit inside your ears.

Customer Review: Good sound quality with fair noise-blocking
Summary: 4 Stars

I bought these to replace a pair of Sony Ex-71s whose cord had started to fray and fail. After going through several pairs of earbuds (Philips, the new Sonys, and jbuds), I settled on these. Their sound blocking is sufficient for riding on mass transit, where it is far more important to block out the noise. When walking on the street or in other areas where I might need to hear something, I just wear them a little looser and I feel confident I could hear well enough to respond. They are not so great at the gym, however, as they fall out without much pulling.

The in-line volume control is very handy and the sound quality is pretty good. I would recommend these.

Customer Review: Great Headphones!
Summary: 4 Stars

I love the sounds quality on these little headphones. They get a full range of sound in a tiny package. The in line volume control is also handy if you are walking or jogging and don't want to dig your mp3 player out of the armband or belt clip. My only problem is I have small ear canals and the smallest size ear pieces are a little too small and the medium ones are a little too big. I've managed to make it work though. I highly reccomend these!
