i just figured out that my volume control wasn't a mic LOL.
FAIL. the description is wrong... thus RMA.. but GOOD earphones. buying a new set.. from different seller .

Well i bought these long time ago.
Ok lets say in February .
I bought one for my kid and for me.
The sound good , I was really impressed with everything.
But one thing was bad, and is that they are not built to last.
The cable looks really cool and everything, but is really week.
It cant handle an ipod(I think is too heavy)
Well but the thing is that it broke.. very close to the jack connector.
Well so I email skull candy,because they said that they have lifetime warranty....
Well is a lie... I email then(from the web page) they never answer back, or something...
So that got me really pissed that they lie to people saying that they got the best warranty on the market...when they don't even bother in answering.
Very disappointing in service, So that's why I gonna get the JBuds J3 Micro Atomic, because everybody says that the service from Jlab is excellent.

This item was purchased at a very good price for a Christmas gift for my nephew. The item was faulty and only had sound coming out of one ear bud. I had a difficut time exchanging the item for an exact replacement given the item was no longer available at the price I purchased it for (third party seller issues). After much debate, I was finally given a replacement at the price I paid, but it took a tremendous amount of time and stress. I caution anyone buying from a third party seller off Amazon - difficulties may arise if you need to return / exchange an item.Customer Review: No Microphone As Advertised

I purchased these for one reason - to have an inline microphone with my headphones. Since that is advertised within the product description, I was very excited to receive these. Imagine my surprise when these arrived and actually DO NOT have an inline microphone. The sound quality is excellent, but without the inline microphone, I have no use for these at all.Customer Review: iPhone compatible but NO MIC!! = these stink!!!

Silly me, I thought that you could believe the text in these product descriptions! There was no inline mic. Making it a generic listening-only headset, not an iPhone-specific phone-use-compatible headset! What a waste of my time!!!
