Customer Review: Skullcandy is the best! read review for a FMJ vs. Ink'd comparison though

I have had alot of cheap ear buds for my mp3 player, and even spent $[...] for some noise canceling ones. With each and every one, I pretty much had to blast it to almost max to even hear it when I work out. I lost my ear buds in Europe, and I went to a Saturn in Berlin and saw these ear buds called Skullcandy. I got a pair of Ink'd for 25 euro, and they are fantastic! I mean with those, I don't have to raise the volume.. the medium volume was perfect. So I thought I got a great value for these, but I got back and found I can get them for alot cheaper... but even though I paid alot more, it was worth it compared to other headphones that I paid [...] bucks for... so I was curious.. since Ink'd is the lowest level of fidelity of earbud, I wondered what the FMJs were like. They apparently can pump out 500W of power, compared to the 100W that Ink'd can.
So I bought these FMJs..so I have both, the difference is that the earbuds are metal, and there is some sort of coil in the lines, and there is an extension, but it just makes them as long as the Ink'd. The short set is good if you strap your mp3player to your arm. Unfortunately I don't have the arm strap. I have it in a case that can hook to my pocket or waist, though I prefer to put it on the machine (cardio machine).. that is where the differences lie.. I like the Ink'd, because they are light, but when I work out hard on the cross-trainer, the Ink'd are light, sound is great, the earbuds block out the outside sounds as well as those so called "noise reducing" headphones... but they tend to coil around the bars, and can be a pain.. (which there are obvious solutions to this, like putting my mp3player somewhere else...) The FMJs don't coil around the bars so easy, but they are heavier, and I don't know why, maybe because the wire is heavier, but I have a harder time keeping the earbuds in my ear. The FMJs can pump out more volume.. at higher volumes you can hear the music when the ear buds are out of the ear pretty clearly (probably should never be blasted that high with the buds in your ears)
I do like both, and they do [...] over any other earbuds I've had.... they aren't 5 star, I would give them 4.5, but I am probably just as well off to have the Ink'd as I would the FMJs
