This radio is EXACTLY as advertised! It was easy to install & works perfectly. One item in the installation manual indicates that the antenna should not be placed on the dash of the vehicle. I checked with several local installers & all said that the dash of the car would work fine. My Nissan has a metal radio grill & the magnetic antenna holds there just fine. Some friends have used velcro to attach the antenna. By not installing the antenna on the roof it is possible to remove the entire radio & hide it in any convenient compartment. What thieves can't see they do not steal.Customer Review: Love it !

It took me about 45 minutes or less to install it in my 2003 Ford Ranger. I connected directly to my radio by using the Sirius FM direct adapter. My signal stays constantly strong and is never lost and there is no static. Sound quality is good. I love having 30 presets for my favorite channels and plus having the memory/song seek function to store up to 30 favorite artists and songs and having the Sportster alert you when your match is being played on another channel. I find it difficult to leave my vehicle now, because I'm in entertainment heaven.Customer Review: This is a Siriusly good radio

I upgraded to the Sportster 5 from an older Sportster model last month. So far I am very happy with the radio. I should note that I had the unit for my car professionally installed. This included a direct to FM adapter. I am very happy not to have to deal with the interference that I had with the old radio. Inside my home I use the boom box. The radio was a little pricey, but I did save money by buying it on Amazon. If you listen to Sirius every day, like I do, the radio is highly recommended.Customer Review: great radio

Love Howard Stern, so I got this radio to listen to him. This is my first experience with a Sirius radio and I've been pleasantly surprised. Very easy to use. Didn't have to open the instructions. Literally got all the connections plugged in and I was up and running. Great reception and great sound. Lots of options from R&B, to classical, to talk radio, and Howard Stern.
Really makes my commute a lot of fun. Well worth the money.

I own an exercise studio and it was embarrassing when a commercial would come on the radio for, "increased male performance" or another exercise studio offering promises and special discounts for their gym. I love the "look" of this particular satellite system. And Amazon had it for the lowest price compared to anywhere else I looked!
The only thing is making sure the antenna is facing in the right direction.
