I just purchased this for my 6yr old daughter for Xmas. I did my research for 2 wks on any and all Karaoke machines. Now I'm not looking to have Karaoke night's every Friday, so I wasn't interested in anything to fancy or expensive. Just some simple fun at a fair price. And if that's what you want, this is it. I've read all the reviews on this machine, good and bad. And with anything, I took a chance. And I'm very happy I did. I just received it today. I opened it up to make sure it worked and was in good condition. And it was. It's a sharp looking machine. Easy to use and operate and carry for a 6yr old. I'm very happy. And for the price It's a steal. I know my daughter will love it.
The volume on the microphone sounds great, loud and clear. I only gave it 4 stars because I haven't played a cd in it yet.

We purchased this for our 9-yr-old daughter for Christmas! The expression on her face when she opened it on Christmas morning was priceless! She loves it! So far it is working pretty well. We haven't hooked it up to the TV yet so I can't comment on how that feature works. The only thing that is a bit of a drawback is that the mic is not that loud. All that matters is that she loves it! We are going to get another mic, maybe a couple as stand-bys. All in all we think this was a good purchase.Customer Review: Great Birthday Party Present for 7 year old!

We bought this karaoke machine for our daughter's 7th birthday party/birthday gift. Considering it was a Hannah Montana party, it was perfect! Very easy to set up into the TV and also easy to use. She can set it up herself. Sound quility is fine, very adjustable. The 7-year-olds had an absolute blast singing and dancing along, and now she uses it herself whenever she needs her Hannah-fix! We need to get another microphone to plug in so Mom can sing along, too!Customer Review: not bad, not great

we purchased this machine for our 6 year old son last christmas. he has used the cd player and microphone alot. we have taken it to parties to use as a karaoke machine and it works fine sometimes and others the lyrics stall out or run together. Overall for the price we have gotten alot of enjoyment out of it and i plan to purchase a wireless mic for my son for christmas to use with this machine.Customer Review: Wow...this actually works!

I bought this for my 8 year old...not really expecting too much. We were pleasantly surprised, and have (all) been having a lot of fun with it. It is a smaller version of a very nice machine that we rented (for $75/day) several months ago. It seems like a good value for the price!
