Bought this recently for my v1.1 XBOX running XBMC on a 1080p HDTV. Works great! Fit my v1.1 xbox perfectly. VERY crisp image, no ghosting or dot crawl. The "heat shrink" tubing another reviewer is talking about is only meant to indicate which 'red' is for audio - totally doesn't matter that it's not heat-shrunk. Only down side is you don't get digital audio with this as you do the true HD pack from Microsoft. Perfect for me though - No optical means less cost, and we're not using optical anyway.Customer Review: Worked As Advertised

Bought these to try to improve the video quality on my LEDtv. Hooked up to my XBOX without a problem and looked amazing. I do not regularly unhook and reattach cables very often; once they are connected they will stay that way for some time, so I cannot speak to the quality of the actual connections over regular attach and detachment, but as far as quality it looks as good as it gets! For the price this cable is the best I ever had, just hooked it up to the xbox (btw, I have the 1,0 version of the box, so the very first) with no problems, it is not tight, like other people reported, the component ends are good, fir firm on the back of the TV, and finally got XBMC on 1080i, what a pleasure! This cable works with original Xbox (not Xbox360!), great value for money.
It can display 720P However it has only stereo analog audio.
To get the best quality few sets need to be done on Xbox Xbmc to enable HD if you are using European PAL Xbox.

There is a huge difference if you're running XBMC and have an HDTV. The XBMC interface is much sharper, text is crisp and actually legible. Games still play at their native resolution. I believe there are only a few XBOX games that are HD quality, and I don't have any of them. I am very happy with this purchase.
