My Shure headphones seem to be so much louder than any other headphones I've ever owned, so this volume control seems like a MUST BUY for anyone that has Shure buds. I like using them to give that finite adjustment with both my Shure's and Bose Noise Cancelling headset. I've found these also work very well on the airplane to minimize the hiss from the crappy outlets on the armrest.
