Customer Review: Some Reviewers Clearly Don't Know How To Use This
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a very good product. Once you start using this you will wonder how you ever played your xbox/ps3 or watched tv without them. They batteries go into one of the headphones, they're recharegeable lithium AA batteries. They charge directly on the stand. (make sure NOT to put regular AA batteries into them or they will explode! during charging!) I use this for surround sound for xbox 360 and ps3 and I am very happy. There could be an issue with hissing noise if there is interference but it is easily solved. Turn up the sound on the TV to at least 50% and turn volume down on the headphones.
Pros
-No Cord
-rechargeable AA format batteries
-charges fast
-Good loud sound
-you can turn surround feature on or off
-comfortable, looks large but not heavy
-comes with headphone adapter, in case you need it

Cons
-controls might be hard to find on the back
-No software included to do anything on your computer
-no way to test surround features (for example to test how positioning works)
-no explanation what the difference is between SRS, Surround, and Dolby (so it sounds good, but how do you know if its true surround?)

Customer Review: Performs as advertised
Summary: 5 Stars

It's that simple. These do everything they claim to do, and do it well. The stand-out factor here in my opinion has to be the comfort level. These babies wrap around a larger noggin, like mine; snuggley, securely, and can be worn for hours at a time. However, I will mention that if you wear glasses they may get uncomfortable a little faster as they put pressure on the arm-frame above the ear. I'm sure that'll be the case with 99.9% of ear-surrounding headsets though.

I've been using these in my ramshackle of a home studio setup. Even though I take a hit on overall sound quality compared to wired models, the freedom to move untethered to change guitars or even just to get up and jump around the room a bit, more than makes up for it.

Don't get me wrong these are multi-purpose headphones and can be used at almost anytime you want music streaming through your brain around the house or even around the yard (depending on where you have that transmitter stationed).

I wouldn't get too excited about the "surround sound" setting, at least for music listening. It remains off.

Oh yeah, I got these at an incredible b*ll-busting price from Amazon, like 65% off retail. Yowzers!

Customer Review: Very good pair of wireless headphones
Summary: 5 Stars

These are very good headphones. Wireless transmission is good, provided that the volume is up on the source to begin with. Battery life is good. Very comfortable. The "hanging charger" is a great idea; very convenient. I can walk from the basement to the second floor and transmission is still pretty good, though it does show signs of breaking up occasionally.

The open cup design on the phones makes a big difference -- ambient sound can be heard very clearly through the phones. Don't buy this model if your normal listening environment is a noisy one -- buy the closed cup model (I think it's the 140's, though not sure on the model number).

On the other hand, if you need to hear ambient sound while wearing them (e.g., communication with others or monitoring for outside sounds) these are perfect.

I also have a pair of Bose noise-canceling headphones. I think that the sound is noticeably better on the Bose, but of course they're wired and noise-canceling.

Overall, this is a really nice option if you're interested in a quality pair of wireless headphones. Would buy again without hesitation.

Customer Review: Great product!
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this item because of my hearing problem that had been causing a conflict with my wife who still has much better hearing, as a resukt of which we were not comfortable with the same volume of TV reception. She would often complain that I had the TV way too loud, whereas with the volume at a comfortable level for her, I would often have trouble hearing what was being said. When I discussed this with a hearing consultant who was selling hearing aids he suggested (after having tested my hearing) that I did not yet need hearing aids but should get a good pair of wireless headphones.
After looking at reviews by other people, I then decided on the Sennheiser RS 130, which I have had several months now and with which I have been very pleased. I can now leave the TV at whatever level my wife likes to have it and not only hear comfortably while I'm in the same room with her but even walk to other parts of the house and continue to follow programs such news reports and discussions. To people in similar circumstances, I can enthusiastically recommend this item. Note also that I experienced no discomfort wearing these phones even for long periods.[

Customer Review: Great Product!
Summary: 5 Stars

I'm quite happy with the Sennheiser RS 130 head phones. The sound quality is excellent for wireless headphones and they are quite comfortable. The complaints I hear must be from audiophiles, because honestly, I don't hear a high pitched whine. The only thing I hear is a mild hiss when there is low or little sound, but that's to be expected from wireless head phones. The sound quality is very good and they don't have any "lag" when I'm watching TV (lips synch correctly). They are very small profile, so I just put them on top of my TV and grab 'em when I need them.

I only have one complaint about these headphones...My ears get hot when I wear them. I can usually wear them for about 1 to 2 hours before I get uncomfortable.

Not a ding on the product, but a ding on Sony...For those of you that own a Sony TV, be warned, Sony is stupid. You must turn OFF the TV speakers to enable audio out. It's quite irritating. So, make sure your remote has plenty of battery power, you'll be switching the audio on the TV on and off quite often.
