Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Sennheiser PMX80 In-Ear Sport Series II Behind the Head Earphones

Customer Review: Improved over PMX-70
Summary: 5 Stars

For those wondering if there is a difference: the neckband is smaller on the PMX-80 and the cord is a bit shorter. I didn't much care about the cord length, but the slight reduction in the neckband size makes a world of difference. I had to continually adjust the PMX-70s because they would droop down and hit my jacket. These stay put, mostly because the smaller neckband makes them more weight-balanced.

Having a small head and small ears, I've become something of a headphone nomad, but these headphones may finally put me at rest. No constant adjustments to get the headphones to stay in place, and that improves the sound enormously - it doesn't matter how much you spend on headphones if you can't get them to stay in/over your ears.

Customer Review: Get these and concentrate on your sport
Summary: 5 Stars

These are, in my opinion, worth the extra money over other headphones which get sweaty, fall out of your ears, move around on your head and lose traction/tightness over time. I'm a runner so I need headphones for high impact activity, but even if you stick to low impact activities, these are great for the superior sound quality & no-fuss or sweat-in-your-ears factor. If you want to concentrate on your sports, these are the best - you won't get frustrated & distracted fiddling around with them. I love the style (over the ears & round the neck) over having headphone on my head - they are just really secure & easy to wear - and I especially like the clothing clip which means the cord isn't flapping around. I haven't found any better earphones yet.

Customer Review: Excellent Pair for Jogging!
Summary: 5 Stars

I usually Jog three times a week-three miles at a time, and so far these headphones have been outstanding for me. They fit like a glove, dont shift around and grasp around your head nicely. They are stylish and the sound is pretty good. The only thing I dont like about these is that you can get a little discomfort as the phones hurt your ears a little bit (a little pressure), and you mostly notice this after your jog when you take them off. So you have to adjust these pups a little, but its worth it. Another cool feature is that these only have one cord coming out of one of the earphones, instead of two like the ipod headphones, etc.
I bourght mine for $25 from another seller, so it was a good deal since the currect price is now $40.

Customer Review: Great for running!
Summary: 5 Stars

These are great for running on the treadmill; they don't fall out! I have had bad luck with other earbuds. They would never stay in my ears, whether I'm moving or not moving. Maybe I have small or abnormally shaped ears. I don't know. But these don't move at all when I'm running, and they sound great! They do get a little uncomfortable if I try to wear them for longer periods of time (2 hours +). They really do wash off under running water also! I did not let the water run directly into the speaker part; I turned the speaker part upside down, ran the headphones under the faucet to clean off the sweat, then laid them on the counter to dry. I felt weird doing this at first, but it really does work. Really neat!

Customer Review: Great Running Headphones
Summary: 5 Stars

Very solid sound from these PMX80 headphones. I picked these over the cheaper stuff because they are 2G iphone compatible.

I have smaller ears and they just fit. Any larger, and they would be too uncomfortable (smaller ears beware).

The video review says you don't need the little clip, I don't agree. The clip allows you to isolate the wire and avoid noise transfer from the cord to the headphones. Don't toss it.

When you are finished using them, just rinse them under a running tap to get rid of the sweat.

Highly recommend to anyone who runs/cycles/exercises and has issues with destroying lesser quality headphones due to sweat.
