Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Sennheiser PC 350 Collapsible Gaming Headset with Vol Control & Microphone Mute

Customer Review: Best headset ever
Summary: 5 Stars

I received this headset a few days ago. I have to say this is by far the best fitting and best sounding headset I have ever had.

The microphone is noise canceling which is a real benefit as I often have background and traffic noise to contend with.

The sound quality of the speakers is by far the best I have heard. The volume level is more than adequate. The bass is very apparent without sounding muddy or overpowering.

The microphone is very directional. I move the microphone just a couple inches away from my mouth and the person I am talking to cannot hear me. A real benefit if I am on the phone.

Overall I give this headset an east 5 out of 5 stars across the board.

Customer Review: Amazing
Summary: 5 Stars

Very solid headset, yet very light. Comfortable for very long periods of time. Very good sound quality - you won't find yourself tweaking an EQ or fiddling with your sound card driver to get it to sound good like a lot of other supposedly high quality headphones. The microphone quality is good and it's easy to bend it to where you want it; also, it's thick/sturdy enough to just grab and pull down or push up without much effort. My only gripe would be that the volume control is a bit small and isn't that easy to adjust on the fly, but that isn't a big issue for me.

All around a very good headset and well worth the money, especially if you *need* an actual headset with a microphone, e.g. for gaming.

Customer Review: Awesome Headset
Summary: 5 Stars

Pros: Great quality headset. I still can't believe this headset is 2.1 because it sounds like some of my 5.1 headsets that cost around the same price. They are very comfortable and the mic is outstanding. Also the headset is made of good quality materials. I have had no issues with the headset since I purchased them a while ago.

Cons: My only con is the cord. My cord is completely twisted and basically ruined. It hasn't affected the sound quality but a twisted cord that is in a mess is down right annoying. I wish they would have just put cloth or some other material around the cord so it didn't twist itself up.

Conclusion: buy these because they are worth every penny.

Customer Review: Excellent headphones
Summary: 5 Stars

Pros: These are by far the best gaming headphones I have ever used. They blow my old Razer Barracudas out of the water. For headphones they have excellent bass, They're comfortable to wear for extended periods of time, and fit completely over my ears. The positional/directional sound is very well done (and I'm pretty sure my K/Ds have gone up since I can now tell where people are in relation to me by the sound of their walking/gunfire.) They also preform very well in movies, with a high range of available sounds.

Cons: A bit expensive.

Other Thoughts: These sound great, even through the standard Realtek audio on an AsusP6T Motherboard. They're not USB.

Customer Review: New equipment.
Summary: 5 Stars

I was going to complain a bit about these headphones. I was using the built-in sound card from my Dell. Then I bought a Soundblaster X-FI Gaming card. Man, these headphones sound awesome. The soundblaster is THX and DTS certified. It has a 3D setting that allows you to test. You really hear the 3D in these headphones compared to other headphones I've plugged in since I bought the card. The bass is crisp. The mic is actually too good. I had to keep it slightly lower than my mouth. Granted the sound card has a headphone setting, but that's the idea. Headphones should sound clear and crisp. If you can afford these I highly recommend them.
