I've tried a lot of headphones and earphones (see my other reviews), and these are the best, IMO, for a pair of casual earphones.
They go on easily, they stay on very comfortably, and they sound good. The next best option, the Bang & Olufsen A8's (I had a pair of those until they were stolen), sound a bit better, look more refined and look sturdier, but these Sennheisers cost a third as much, go on easier, and are more comfortable.
Most any clip-on pair doesn't sound as good as in-ear phones, particularly the bass, but then again sometimes one would like to hear one's surroundings. I think the sound of clip-on earphones is better with more pressure pushing them onto the ear. These OMX70 are gentle, in contrast the more-firmer-clamped PMX70s sound a bit better at the cost of getting uncomfortable after a couple of hours. Also, the OMX70s take a surprising amount of power from my iPod, although they still play as loudly as I'd like.
The styling is gaudy, but my family hasn't complained yet. These come with a cool case.

I bought these headphones together with an ipod shuffle because I thought it would be cool to be able to listen to music not only to kill all those boring minutes in the metro, or on the train, but also when doing some fun stuff like playing tennis or jogging. I was quite skeptical this could actually work, especially for the tennis part, I though the headphones would not be stable enough, but in fact they do work beautifully! The sound is orders of magnitudes better than the default ones which come with the ipod, they never fall off my ears, and they seem to be extremely resistant! Also they are really comfortable to wear, and this is said by someone who is really fussy about what goes near or inside his ears! So, no need for the bulkier models with neckband, these ones are light and will serve you perfectly. I had some issues with the horrible green color, but once you wear them , it's barely noticeable.

These headphones have great sound quality and were reasonably priced (especially for how durable they are). These things are super tough and even come with a sweet carrying case to protect them further. The only downside I've found is that the bud part itself is kinda large (they didn't sit well in my ear). However, to counter this Sennheiser included wedge shaped ear pieces (the green pieces at the bottom of the picture) which allow the head phone to create an acoustic seal without actually going inside your ear, which I find more comfortable than standard earbuds/overear headphones. I'm happy with my purchase, and would definitely buy Sennheiser products again (but from Amazon, because it was $10 cheaper on Amazon than on the Sennheiser website).Customer Review: Worth it

I spent several weeks searching high and low (online and at Target, Best Buy, Circuit City, etc) and I couldn't find a pair of headphones that are the ear-clip style that I liked. These are perfect for running or really any kind of work-out activity. They stay on and are designed well enough that the sit very well around your ear (unlike a pair of $10 Panasonic ones I had). The quality is what you'd expect from Sennheiser, the carrying case is handy, and I think the styling is better than Sony's, JVC or Koss in my opinion.
The magnets in these are strong and they sound good - no complaints.
Update: after owning these for over 2 years and using them regularly they still work and sound great.

I know you read all these reviews about how its not that great and the sound is not that great and you should get these and blah blah blah. These are amazing earphones. If you are looking for the kind that wrap around your ear and don't fall off no matter what your doing. Then these are for you. They have great sound and good bass. Lets face it I'm listening to earphones I don't need the same bass as my home theater system. For the over the ear design they are the best. Hands down. I have tried every other brand and several models deep there and they just don't hold a candle to these. So if these are the design you like buy them don't even think about it.
