Customer Review: Comfortable, Great for long wear

I bought these for use on a 15 hour flight and was very pleased to find that they are very comfortable both on the top of my head and on my ears. The ear cups are well padded and not too tight and the headband is very soft and well padded also. The materials used in to cover the padding does not feel very durable and I don't expect that these headphones would stand up well to heavy use/rough storage, but they lasted me through my roundtrip flight and still look like new. I expect that for occasional users who take reasonable care to store their headphones like me they are a great choice.
The sound was a little quiet for the airplane. While it does a great job of sound isolation, I still had to have the sound of my ipod all the way up in order to be at a volume I enjoyed. However when I had the headphones plugged into the jack of the airplane seat to watch movies I had absolutely no problems with volume. Sound quality was also great!
For the price I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for comfortable headphones that will satisfy all regular users.

All the pros and cons that were mentioned aside, I just wanted to share my experience.
I had Sennheiser px100 - the original one for a couple of years.. and loved it. I recently moved into an apartment where I share room with another person, so had to get something that leaks less sound, not to mention that I gave away my px100 to a friend. I wanted a decent set of cans that were cheap. This fits the bill perfectly.
Initially, they sounded ok.. I was a bit disappointed.. I mean, they are pretty decent sounding cans, and esp. for the price point; they are unbelievable. But with all the good reviews with extremely positive opinions, I expected a "miracle" over these.. However, now the phones are "broken in," they sound noticeably better, at least to my ears, and sound pretty likable. They don't go too heavy, well balanced, and details in the background are delivered through. Again, if you're looking for a decent everyday phones at a cheap price, then these will do. If you're some serious audiophile - well I guess you wouldn't even be here reading this review. ;)

They are not the typical headphones that you have the phobia for because they don't become less comfortable the longer you wear them. They're actually quite easy on the ears. Sound is awesome. Well, The thing is that it had a very long cord so make sure you wrap it up. Its good for me because I don't want to cause a ruckus when I want to listen to my music at loud levels in my room and still move around. That long chord comes in handy. The only thing is that, it won't kick the bass that high. So if you're looking for bass kickers, don't buy them because they are more like the 'sound of shards of glass breaking would sound ridiculously good' kind of headphones. Nevertheless, they are still very good. Another thing is, if you're looking for noise isolating/cancelling headphones, look elsewhere. These are not meant for that. They are the you shouldn't really care if you're looking for good sound type of heaphones.
I hope this helps whoever is interested in buying this pair of headphones. They're my favorite pair yet.

I was somewhat skeptical when purchasing these headphones despite the number of 5 star reviews. Mainly I was concerned with the low output these supposedly gave. I read many reviews stating that one had to turn the volume on their media device to maximum volume or close to it, just to get a reasonable listening volume from the headphones. This isn't the case for me. I'm not sure if other reviewers are using outdated technology or what, because I did not have to change the volume on my laptop at all. The same volume I use for the built in laptop speakers works perfect when I plug in these headphones. It's no different when using my Zune either; both the stock earbuds and these headphones require the same volume.
As for sound quality, they give you all the lows, mids and highs one could ask for. Obviously, there is better quality sound out there, but for more $$ of course.
If you somehow find my review out of the 200 already on here you should know that these are worth the $25 --they look, sound, and feel good. They deserve 5 stars.

Sennheiser HD201 Lightweight Over-Ear Binaural Headphones
These are very good headphones for the price. They are a tad bit ugly (not terrible) but that is just my opinion, check the photos before you buy.
My son loves them which is why I purchased so that is all that matters. He is a high schooler and feels cool wearing them, they also keep his ears warm. Aside from that, these have decent sound, a very very long cord (almost ten feet) and come with an 1/4" adapter for larger plugs like a home receiver or amplifier. Great for the guitarist who doesn't need the whole house hearing him butcher another Black Sabbath or Jimi Hendrix song.
They also feel fairly well made. Not super sturdy but enough so they won't fall apart. For an entry level set of earphones they are very good.
No crackle while listening to loud music.
Not great bass but still decent sound.
Connector feels tight when connected.
Noise cancel is pretty good.
Two thumbs up, great value!!
