Customer Review: Good for the discounted price

I have bought it during the thanksgiving discounts of Amazon. It was really cheap. Now, I am listening to music or watch animations using it and I am satisfied with the headphones. It doesn't give an extraordinary bass sound. Nor does it increase the volume level that comes out of my laptop. But, of course my laptop has a limited volume capacity.
It fits to my head and mine is not big. I have a normal or maybe a narrow head and I am comfortable with it.
And surprisingly, it does isolate the listener from outside sounds to some extent. So, it has another plus.
I would recommend it to customers who don't want to spend much on a circumaural listening device, but still expect some quality. It gives a general satisfaction. But, it is not something for pros or music-men. Because the frequency span of it is relatively limited to its Sennheiser big brothers.
Edit: After using it nearly for one year, I had the need to give some more feedback.
I want to clearly emphasize that for the price I paid for this thing, it is a great device. Yes, I agree to others saying that it hurts the ears after using it many hours. True, not the most comfy headphones. But hey, know this: I dropped it from about 1 meter height to carpet floor several times. I have accidentally pulled the cord too much. None of them effected its functioning. Still the same quality, which is not the best maybe, but enough for me. I would definitely buy another one, if I had to. I clearly recommend it to everyone who doesn't want to spend many bucks on a premium equipment but would like to listen to music and do other stuff like watching DVDs and playing games. Again, not for professionals or hard-core gamers or enthusiasts. But definitely for regular usage! More durable than I have expected!

Yeah, I've had these phones now for about 2 and 1/2 hours. They are far and away the best purchase I have made in a long long time.
In my dorm I listen to a good deal of music, mostly because I hate my roommate's choice of television shows and I have about 1,000 times more work than him (being a pre-med major). So yeah, this year I have gone through 4 pairs of phones, these Sennis being #5. I've had a pair of Sony Digital, 2 pairs of Coby (one was CV-H42) and, an in-ear Panasonic version, and nothing at all even compares to the clarity and rich tones that the Sennis have.
I have listened to a lot of music in the 18 years I have been alive, and my music listening habits are quite varied (from techno, to alternative, to classical) and I promise you whatever music you listen to will sound better and clearer with these phones.
Now for the only drawback I have noticed, I have now had the phones on for 2 1/2 hours straight and they are starting to press just a bit on my ears. But the pressure is ever so slight-just starting to get a little uncomfortable.

1)Compared to other headphones/ear-buds these put out less power on the same sound settings of the output device so you have to crank the volume dial a bit more but claims that these are not loud enough are exaggerated. When you crank the volume all the way up, you won't be able to hear car horn 10ft away from you. I listen to music for hours @ 10-20% output power and it is sufficient by all means and I don't see why somebody without hearing loss would want to listen to music much louder for extended periods of time.
2)There are more areas where these headphones come short (most noticeable is bass) but it is absurd to compare ~20$ headphones with +100$ headphones. If you are audiophile and have high standards, please consider spending 4x-5x $ since the difference is noticeable. However, if you just want to enjoy listening to your music and are looking for everyday headphones with VERY DECENT sound throughout the entire power spectrum without spending lot of money, this might suite your needs very well. It did it for me.
3)Yes these are made of plastic, but you will put it on your head and listen to music ... how much durability does that take? Issues could rise when you travel a lot. And this is my ONLY DISAPPOINTMENT, they don't fold up.
4/14/2011 edit:I have point out that I listen to music in home/office settings, they are not very good at eliminating the noise so outdoors you either put up with too noise disturbing your listening, or you crank up the volume and risk permanent hearing damage.
Verdict:
Yes you can get better headphones, but not for the same price! If they folded nicely, I would be 100% satisfied with them. Hope this helped.

I just bought these headphones after looking at some noise canceling ones as well as a few others that were similar to this. I bought this pair because of good reviews from amazon as well as from a headphones site.
These headphones sounds great! There is rich bass and the sound is full. It sounds just as good as a my speakers I have hooked up to my computer with a subwoofer. I plugged in these headphones and then put in the ipod speakers and these are a million times better. The only thing that I like about the ipod speakers is how small and convenient they are. Thus for short trips, working out at the gym or walking around campus, I probably will continue to use the white ipod earbuds. But when I go on longer trips, on flights, and even in my room when I can't have sound because of my roommate, I will use these headphones.
They are comfortable as well. I have a pretty normal sized-big head and they fit well. As far as the guy who says they didn't fit his head, I don't see how that is possible. This is because you can adjust the headphones by pulling them out. So unless he has a really small head, one on which the headphones wouldn't reach his ears, then I don't know how they couldn't fit him.
Oh and if you are looking for a pair of headphones that blocks out background noise, these will do the trick. I asked my roommate to talk and make noises and I could barely here him if at all! So on an airplane, I would imagine these would be perfect.
All in all, these are a great pair of headphones and at a price of less than 20 dollars, they are a great deal!

I received these cans the day after ordering with no extra charge.
That was irrelevant to my review.
I do music production for an amateur band, and my girlfriend, the lead singer, desired a set of over-the-ear headphones. I decided to purchase a cheap set, and my expectations for a set under $20 weren't all that high. I spotted these here on Amazon and, after reading some glowing reviews, I decided to purchase these.
Upon opening the headphones, I immediately threw them on my head and searched through my music library for the most dynamic music I could find, and I was pleasantly surprised at how good this set was at blowing my mind. Sure, there are cans that give you much better sound quality out there, but for this price? I seriously doubt it.
They're also insanely comfortable, even to my pansy ears. I've worn them for hours with only a hint of discomfort, and that was simply because, as previously stated, my ears are pansies.
All of the range you could want is there; bass, highs and lows are all represented well, with no frequencies being overpowering. The bass is especially nice, as I am a big Rage Against the Machine and Red Hot Chili Peppers fan.
Overall, these are well worth the money, and if your lady is cool they'll make her happy as well. If you're in need of a lady these will attract several and you can pick from amongst the crowd that they inevitably attract. If you yourself are a lady, I would imagine the process is the same as the previous one except with dudes.
