After my cat put my Sony MDR-NC6 Noise Canceling Headphones out of commission, I decided to order these completely on the recommendations on amazon. I'm impressed with their sound blocking abilities despite not having noise-cancelling technology. While the old Sony pair reduced the humming of the fridge and A/C, the new pair blocks off much of the sound of typing and even nearby conversations, which the old Sony pair never excelled at. They are comfortable for long periods of time even though I have a relatively large head. I did have to adjust the EQ on my ipod because these headphones put out a large amount of bass, but some may like the extra thump. I couldn't ask for a better product for such a low price.Customer Review: a great little find

These headphones are the perfect answer for what I thought was going to be a long search for a comfortable fit and quality sound for a reasonable cost. Here they are. It's got good sound. It's got the punch yet the subtle clarity for both the music and DVD playback that my computer demands.
I previously had a slightly larger pair of headphones (or 'cans') that I was content with for three years prior. I got these EH-150's and I was slightly suspicious with the smaller size earcups. But an immediate run through have put my fears to rest. I paid less money for better performance. Go figure. Plus my bald noggin was appreciative of the padding on top instead of strips of plastic digging a channel through the top of my head.
I'm thinking of getting a few more pair while they are hot.

First off, I looked for about 2 weeks on amazon for headphones and I just couldn't decide, because I wanted good sound, didn't want to pay too much, and something that would look good. I finally decided on these after reading reviews about them and most were positive. I SEE WHY!!!!!!! I love these! They sound really good, and I listen to metal only so I like my music loud. These perform very very well. I did break them in for two days straight by playing music on repeat through them moderately loud. They sounded even better after that.
They fit very well on my head. In the picture it doesn't appear that they are adjustable, but they are, the earpieces move. I havent had sore ears from wearing them yet, and they haven't gotten my ears hot.
JUST GET TRUST ME.

I waited almost 2 months to get these headphones (Not Amazon's fault) so when I finally received them all I wanted to do was rip the packaging open and plug them in right away (I even dreamt of this in my head). I wasn't disappointed and when I plugged them into my Philips hi-fi I was greeted with clear treble and a warm, rich bass response and at the same time sitting very comfortably over my ears and blocking out outside noise completely. They are perfect for what I use them for, which is music on my computer and hi-fi, delivering the right amount of treble and bass at the right time. However I found that these headphones shouldn't be played at full volume as the sound does tend to distort at very high volumes. Sennheiser, huh? The name sounded familiar to me. Then my memeory kicked in and I was reminded that indeed I had used Sennheiser products in the past. While studying to be a radio and tv audio engineer I had used the HD 414's and HD424's plus their top of the line microphone. German precision engineering for decades.
I was looking for a set of headphones and I had tried SkullCandy, Philips, and Sony.All disappointments. By chance I was browsing Amazon and spotted the Sennheiser 150's for $27! I jumped on it. The sound was as advertised deep purring bass with select and distinct trebels. I listen to all types of music up to 2 hours at a time so I required sound quality and comfort. I believe I have found it in the Model 150.
