Durability: I can't tell you how many times I've dropped these headphones (on carpet/wood). The pads are attached to the bracket with a free-moving hinge...at first when I dropped them I got scared because I thought it was a fragile joint...but it still feels as strong as it was when I first got it.
Sound: I may be imagining it, but I believe it got better with time. (Maybe they have a break-in period?) Stunning sound at this price-point. I hope to get open-air audiophile quality headphones one day, but I'm glad I'll have these for closed-ear purposes. I do not have super-critical expectations with sound, but these headphones have a surprisingly full sound and put all other sub-$50 headphones that I have heard to shame. Even the stereo separation is quite good. I did not notice this until recently...but it's added a whole different dimension to music. Sound isolation is quite good (leaking out AND in).
Design: I don't personally care...They're pretty bulky. Looks pretty goofy on me cuz I have a small head. I wear glasses...it used to hurt behind my ear after an hour of use. When I got different glasses the pain went away. I think if your glasses have a curve on the end of the part behind your ear...then these headphones will hurt.

I am very glad that I got these headphones because:
1. They are very comfortable contrary to some other opinions. My head is normal, not small and yet they fit weel.
2. They isolate the noise from outside. Sometimes I would wear them in my office without any music just to be able to have some quiet time.
3. They have a very good sound. I was alittle woried that many people perceive good sound to be anything better then those clock-radios for waking up, but these headphones are really great for the price.
4. We use them all the time. My partner listens movies, music and news with them from from the TV and the computer at night, so he really appreciates the lenght of the wire. I use them during the day with my MP3 player while biking, travelling, exercising, or in my office on the computer, so for me the wire is a little bit too long.
The only complain that I have is that the wire seems very thin and fragile. You may find them a little too bulky to carry them arround, but that is the price for having the strenghts above. I stronglly recomend them for home and office and for anyone who likes good music and does not mind their size for outdoors.

I'll state up front that I am no audiophile, but I love music and I am pretty picky about how my music sounds. I ordered these so I can listen to some of my "parental advisory labeled" songs at work :) and let me tell you, for the price you'd be hard-pressed to do better. The sound is just awesome, I can't even find the right adjectives to describe it. Rich, full, textured, deep, etc. etc. You get the idea. I could pick up tiny details and even flaws in the music. I also found them to be very comfortable once I got them properly adjusted, but I will also say that I'm a girl, and my ears and head are probably smaller than a lot of guys' ears. I get headaches from anything that clamps my head too much or is too heavy, which is a problem with a lot of headphones. The EH-150s are light and rest on the head without being too tight, which is a huge plus for me.
Overall I would say they are totally worth what you are going to pay for them. To get much better than this, you'd have to go up considerably in price, and hey, some of us have other things to spend money on besides a $500 pair of headphones - like actual music to listen to. :) Get these cans!

I just went on a headphone escapade looking for a good pair of headphones.
My search started with Philips Noise Cancelling HN110. I didn't really find that the NC did much except raise the volume a little bit. So I returned them to spend my money on a really good pair of regular headphones.
Then I tried 3 pairs -- Sony MDR XD200. Those look huge (which is why I bought them) but the sound is surprisingly bad. The cans cover your ears but let way too much sound through - it's like not having your ears enclosed at all. Also, the sound was faint and not that loud.
The second pair were the Sony MDR V150. These are actually really good headphones. It was a really close call between these and the Sennheisers. However after many comparisons on different styles of music, the Sennheisers were the clear choice.
These are a great bang for the buck. I'm extremely happy with them. They cover the ears and actually block out a decent amount of noise -- just like the NC Philips. Also they are really comfortable. The ear pieces swivel slightly and move up and down to adjust. Get these - you won't be disappointed.

I knew these would be awesome. it Sennheiser what else could you expect. I tried some cheap ones that my cousin had and they were horrible. These look small when u actually see it but wen you put it on its amazing. They fit perfectly. My only concerned wat the fact that the sides were like wrinkly and would leave marks on ur ear but these dont do that. Only one little bad thing that i first noticed when i started listening, at low volumes the bass isn't so great but then when you raise the volume its phenomenal. but then again who listens to system of a down at a low volume. My speakers are now useless. i was going to get altec lansing mp500 speakers on Black Friday but they were sold out and my bro said i should get sennheiser head phones. As your first headphones these are awesome. when you get them at the right time these are only $28. if you think about it the cheaper sennheiser are around 20 bucks but then with shipping you end up paying only a few bucks less so i see no reason not to get these. When i look to buy something I'm always extremely picky and i picked these and i like them so that says something.
