+VMU memory units are pretty cool (see below)

Cons: -Ugly
-Dual VMU slots could not look much worse lol, though they add funtionality
-Wire comes out the bottom, so it gets in the way a lot
Overall: 8/10
Other thoughts: The VMUs have screens on them to add funtionality. They can be linked together to trade files as well as play games if Im not mistaken. They add information (i.e. in RE: Code Veronica it shows your heart beat meter).

The Sega Dreamcast controller has to be one of the best for any console. It's amazing ergonomic design was way ahead of it's time. Although it spawned from the earlier Saturn 3D controller which was released for the NiGHTS into Dreams game.
The VMU which fits into the top of the controller is outstanding. The simple ability to play mini games on the memory card was unheard of.
The comfort and style of the Dreamcast controller is beyond comparison, and I highly recommend the Sega Dreamcast to anyone that enjoys well designed, fun games.

I purchased one of the "New" ones and recieved a blue-swirl European (PAL) version. Skeptical, I looked it up and found that there was no difference inside the controller.
The controller works great. I haven't had any issues with any of my Sega DC controllers yet - after 5 years and several tournament used.

This is a very good controller, the one that came was one of the european version indicated by the blue swirl but it will work on north american dreamcasts, i would give this 5 out of five, im 6 foot 3 and i have huge hands so this controler works just perfect for meCustomer Review: Sega Dream Cast Controller

Just needed a controller when I gave the system to a little boy. Works fine from what I hear and I received the controller from the seller with no problems within a couple of days. Thumbs up!
