Order processing was fast and item received very quickly and exactly as described on the web site. Used Acronis True Image 11 Home to make a backup copy of the entire hard drive and was easy. Short time later hard drive gave up, installed new hard drive and reinstalled from the Seagate FreeAgent and was back up and running with minor delay.Customer Review: Thumbs up

Great pricing and delivery service with Amazon. Unit was stubborn about installing with my XP operating system (friend had the same problem). Easy fix with install wizard...which I should have used from the start. Unit works as advertised...not one problem. Good buy and a great unit thus far. the only little change was erase the software for windows (permission issues) and thats all, ready to go.

I have had several external hard drives and each has done its job very well. This seagate has the added feature of built in software that makes it very easy to use. Brought it home, pluged it in, was storing files less than a minute later. Fast drive. Looks cool sitting there with the gold activity strip pulsing on and off when it's active. Plus the 5 year warrenty. Fast cheap painless USB storage. All you need to know is where the power plug and your USB port is.
