My son bought me this for my birthday and I love it !
Back in the day when we got our Zip drives we thought they were the real deal. 700 megs ! But they were so slow.
This is as fast as any thing on your computer to access.
Now I have more space on this than my entire computer !!

Been using it for almost 2 years, it has traveled internationally with me, been in suitcases, backpacks and laptop bags. NO PROBLEMS!!! I treat my stuff well, but it hasn't just sat on a desk!
It's reliable, solid and has kept my data safe so far. Since we are coming up to two years of continuous usage I have a second copy on another hard-drive...safer that way!

OK, I've only just plugged this badboy in, but I love it and for the price, for my purposes, this is a great buy. I d/l tons of music and audiobooks -- literally "plugnplay", and within a couple of clicks I transferred 30G of goodies that were slogging my lowly small hd over to the Seagate. I bought the Free Agent to insure my Doctoral Dissertation work would not be lost in the event of a computer crash. This has to be the simplist device I've ever used. Plug it in and copy my files and folders. Took about 5-7 minutes. Quiet and fast. I don't know if it's good for business applications or high volume work, but it fits my purposes great.Customer Review: Great product, so there's No much to say about... buy it !!!!

It is a great HDD, Really simple and friendly, No complicated Software...actually no software at all... It's like you have a Huge flash drive...Just plug it and you're done...just like that real "Dummy-easy" and for the price you'll hardly find something better, nice and small and looks great with this yellow/orange light, it worth every penny.
