Customer Review: Needed help getting my itouch to work in my car.

I had a 5th gen. video ipod and used it everyday in my car with my Belkin fm transmitter. I recently bought an itouch and found out it was no longer compatible with my fm trans. because the dock connector doesn't read my new itouch. Luckily the Scosche passport was able to save the day! Now I can enjoy my music and podcasts through my car stereo and not awkwardly through headphones while I drive. Thanks Scosche! (p.s. I bought this product for my daughter and she said that it works well. She needed the adapter to hook up her iPod Touch to her Alpine car stereo. The adapter helps to keep her iPod charged while she is driving and keeps charged while she is playing the music from the iPod. The item is what we expected and it did arrive to our house in a timely manner. Before I bought the Scosche charging adapter, I could only play my Ipod Nano 4G with the Infiniti supplied adapter cable. Screen displayed the message, charging not supported for this device. Now with the Scosche charging adapter I don't have to be concerned about how much charge is left on the Ipod... just plug it all in and it's good to go... Ipod battery charges up fine plus I don't have to remove the neoprene Ipod case. Highly recommended!Customer Review: Does exactly what it says it will do

I needed this adapter for my car's stereo - it was installed before the iPod touch and I needed the adapter to allow the iPod to run through the stereo and charge at the same time. This adapter does exactly that and I even use it for a docking speaker that, by itself, the iPod touch didn't fit in the dock. Well worth buying instead of getting a new speaker or not being able to charge the iPod at the same time as it's playing through my stereo.Customer Review: Makes ipod touch work with all my old ipod accessories

Received an ipod touch for the holidays and love it. However, it would not charge with my iHome radio and my Harmon-Karden in car player. The touch would play in both, but would get the "charging not supported" message when connected. I use the iHome as the main charger and really wanted to use it. The Scosche Charging adapter works great with both the iHome and the car player. Now I don't worry about a long drive and no charging capability.
