Pros:
-You can accurately control times from 99:99:99 to 1 second.
-It won't fail, at least for me, with a bit of condensation/rain.
-Comes with two AAA batteries that will last longer than your camera's batteries for a long night of shooting.
-Infinite shooting is an option, when selecting the number of exposures you can choose up to 399 or press down and get [--] which is infinite.
Cons:
-The built in light only lasts 3 seconds on press down, so if you need to readjust in the dark it can be a little troublesome.
Not really a con but more of a pointer, if you are shooting with nighttime noise reduction option on your camera you need to set the interval time to a slightly longer time than the bulb time. This is because the noise reduction takes an additional 'blank' exposure during the interval to merge with the bulb exposure in order to greatly reduce the noise. It is a feature that will reduce your battery life, and you will get less shots overall. For me, this is worth it because it reduces the time I have to spend doing noise reduction by that much. Try it for yourself and compare the results to see what works better for you.
The buttons that select times and settings are pressed once for one interval of time. If you hold down buttons to adjust the time, it will still only go up one interval. This means alot of pressing if you want a 30 second or half hour exposure, etc... This isn't a con for me, but it may be for some of you.
Also, read the manual. It will save you time and frustration trying to figure out what all the abbreviations mean. After using it a few times, you can set the times without really looking at the device.
