These are great speaker stands. I sprayed mine with polyurethane like another buyer suggested. Worked great. Easy to assemble. The only problem I ran into is that my speaker wire is so big (14 gauge) that it won't fit in the pre-drilled hole on the top of stand. Not a big deal. It's hidden most of the way up the stand in the back. Sanus makes very good stands!Customer Review: Great product for the price.

For the money these are great speaker stands. Assembly required but fairly easy to put together. I used some wood glue during assembly to add to their strength. They look nice and are supporting a pair of JBL L830 speakers which are very heavy bookshelf speakers. The non skid pads on the 5" top supporting surface really help. Construction and overall engineering of the product is good. They hold up my large 13" bookshelf Yamaha speakers and they stay put just fine. I was careful not to over-tighten the screws to prevent splitting the MDF constructed wood but other than that they're perfect. I've had them for a little over a year and they're still holding up great!Customer Review: for the money cant complain

I was looking for a simple pair of speaker stands for my B&W speakers and came across these. They're very easy to assemble, very sturdy, look great, and I got them for a fraction of the price had I bought the B&W stands. I liked them so much I picked up a second pair for the rear speakers I am about to buy.
