Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of SANUS SYSTEMS BF-24B Wood Speaker Stands

Customer Review: Great Stands, Great Value
Summary: 5 Stars

Having put together numerous speaker stands in the past, I found that assembling this pair of Sanus stands to be relatively simple and straight forward. The key to proper assembly is making sure that the screws are lined up perfectly with the pre-drilled pilot holes. Also, be sure that the posts are facing the right directions before attaching them. Once you've taken care of these two details, its easy to finish the assembly and end up with a really good looking pair of stands.

The stands sturdily support the pair of Polk TSi 200 speakers that are sitting on them.

I especially like the black finish. It looks great with the other black furniture and components in my system. Although there is a concealed wire management system designed into the stands, I do not use it and can not comment on its effectiveness.

Customer Review: Functional and inexpensive
Summary: 5 Stars

I had no problems with these speaker stands. When driving the screws you must be certain that the legs are absolutely perpendicular to the top and base. If the legs are tilted or angled away from vertical the screws will split the wood. I used a bit of wood glue to strengthen the assembly. I used two strips of wide industrial strength Velcro to lock each speaker in place. You can find that in the craft isle of a certain large chain store starting with a W. These easily support Polk Monitor 40 speakers weighing approx. 15 lbs. They look decent also. The wiring is routed through the bottom, up the inside of the legs and out at the top of the rear of the legs. There is a hole for wiring in the center of the top plate, but the speaker couldn't possibly sit flat on top of the wires. Excellent value for the price paid.

Customer Review: Good stands, given price
Summary: 5 Stars

These speaker stands were among the cheapest I found. The material is fairly light but sturdy, and the stands were easy to put together. Before you purchase, make sure to measure out the height of the stands as well as the size of the platform that holds the speaker -- the picture makes the stands seem taller than they are. I am using them to hold the front left and right speakers from an Onyko 7.1 speaker set. The speakers fit almost perfectly, although they are tall and easily able to be knocked off the stand.
My only criticisms is that the plastic snap-on back panels do not fully cover length of stand, letting light shine through the small gap in front where the two angled panels meet. This is a minor flaw and is not very noticeable unless in certain lighting/placement conditions.

Customer Review: Well worth the money....
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought these stands for my 201 Bose bookshelf speakers. At first I was hesitant to do the purchase but after reading the reviews and knowing Amazon's return policy, I decided to try it and boy did I made the right decision!! Contrary to popular buy lines, good quality speakers do not necessarily require "expensive" stands. These stands may not have the "name brand" but it is made of the right material, balanced, the right weight, and the correct proportion of the floor and speaker base. With a good coating of clear polyurethane spray paint, it'll be hard to tell the cheap purchase.
I'm satisfied with the purchase and will recommend this item.

Customer Review: Should have purchased a long time ago...
Summary: 5 Stars

For the past year, I have had my Klipsch B-3 speakers on the floor and thought they sounded good. I found this stand for a good price and thought I would give it a try. I should have purchased the stand a long time ago. The sound is a big improvement with much more depth/dimension compared to when they were placed on the floor. Others have commented on the construction quality. For ~$30, what is there to complain about? The stands have met/exceeded my expectations. Setup was pretty straightforward, no issues.

I have a 46" Samsung on a black metal stand and the scale is just right. I am glad I did not order the taller stand, which would have looked out of proportion.
