Customer Review: Very Good Mount

I was very skeptical about getting this mount given the various concerns expressed here. I went ahead and ordered the piece anyhow. It was delivered via Amazon prime. I quickly noticed that some of the concerns are justified - the pilot holes for the screws are rather small, and using the supplied screws on those holes will definitely split the legs.
Solution: get your drill: I drilled the pilot holes a little bit bigger using a small drill-bit (forgot the size of the bit - but it was slightly smaller than the supplied screws). This solved the problem, and I assembled the mount successfully in about 30 mins without any hitch. It is currently holding a 14-Ib L/R speaker. Great product for the price !
