Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Electrolux Eureka Sanitaire SC3683A Commercial Canister VacCustomer Review: It sure does suck Summary: 2 StarsAll I could think of after receiving it was the Suck n' Cut quote from waynes world: "It sure does suck".
I think as a cheap and portable vacuum, maybe something you'd clean your car with, its fine. It has good suction, but thats about it. The construction is cheap plastic, the attachments and hose are awkward to use and store, and the wheels look like they are ready to fall off. When I tested it out, it scuff my hardwood floors, but it at least sucked up the dirt. On carpet it is virtually useless. I vacuumed the same rug several times, and afterward I could still pick off fuzz from the rug with my hands.
Although it may have "commerical" in its name, its basically another POS fantastic plastic item. If you care about quality in anyway, I suggest looking elsewhere.
Customer Review: great value and vacuum Summary: 4 Starslooked at many vacuums. read on-line reviews and consumers reports. this vacuum is a great value for the money. noisy but has excellent suction.
only disadvantage is that the bags and hepa filter are only available on line.
Customer Review: A mighty little machine. Summary: 5 StarsI bought this vacuum from the Shoplet company on Amazon. I am amazed at how well it works for something so small. First of all, the item practically arrived overnight and I did not pay to expedite shipping. It was a cinch to put together and it works so well.
It really gets my hardwood and tile floors so clean. It also works well on lite rugs, we have dhurries. I am not sure how well it would work on deep pile carpets. I also have used its attachments to clean my furniture. That was great too. I especially like the fact that it is a bagged vacuum as I thought cleaning out the dust cup from my previous one was disgusting. And last but not least, it fits under most of my furniture, unlike the previous one which was a clunky upright.
It is easy to use and incredibly light, the hose does not tangle and it follows along behind me like a little red dog.
I would suggest buying several packages of bags when you buy the vacuum.
A great machine especially for the money.
Well, thought I would check back in, it is now May 2009, almost a year of ownership. And I still love this product. I still find it really loud so now I wear my IPOD when I vac. But aside from that it is really nice. It picks up and it is not a pain to lug around. I don't expect it to live forever especially since I seem to be really hard on vac's but for sure I would another one of these.
Customer Review: Miracle Worker Summary: 5 StarsWho would believe a housework shirker could now think of vacuuming as FUN! "Mom, I'm using it every chance I get....all the attachments, too." These words from the daughter whose homemaking skills are in the zilch area. I sent her this vacuum to replace the one my Grandmother gave me as a wedding gift over 40 yrs ago. Heavy, awkward and ugly has turned to cute, light and sexy. Only drawback: no auto cord rewind. Need I add "highly recommend"?
Customer Review: Great suction for bare floor Summary: 4 StarsThis is a very good vacuum especially for bare floor, great suction power for a small canister. I had a Eureka Mighty Mite, the tiniest one, which are not manufactured anymore, and I liked it, so I decided to get this Eureka Sanitaire to replace the old one.
I am very pleased with the suction power but one complaint I have is the noise, the motor is very loud, more than a typical vacuum.
For the price under $100, it is a great buy.
