I just received the H210 and immediately it reminded me in terms of performance and build quality of the now defunct Proton 320 clock radio. The industrial engineering is really nice. The curved handle that rotates up from the back of the radio was a nice design feature. The display is large, and the sound quality is excellent. I noticed to my surprise that the AM reception ability was very good, and of course on FM it performed well. I liked that the radio has a two D-cell power source since I'm not that into rechargables, especially in emergency situations. The radio has a DC power input jack, but I didn't see such an accessory power module for sale from Sangean, so Radio Shack is the place I guess for an external DC supply. I'd give Sangean an A+ on the H210.Customer Review: Worth it

I've owned this radio for a little over 8 months now. I just replaced the 2 D size Duracel batteries for the first time last week...and that is after using the radio daily for an hour each morning and then some. The sound quality and reception was strong right up till the end...both AM & FM. The case is sturdy and has a well made feel to each feature. One handy thing is that you can mount it on the wall so you don't accidentally knock it over. Additionally, there is a built in emergency flashlight, a carry handle that double functions as an antenna, a carry strap, and a digital clock. Though more expensive than most shower radios I researched, the value is worth the splurge. If I could change one thing, however, I'd want more presets instead of only 5.Customer Review: Excellent radio!

This radio is VERY well made, has useful features, excellent reception, and excellent sound quality even when maxed out (this is very good because I have to turn it up to about 90% of max to hear it over the shower and our noisy exhaust fan). The radio was a little bigger and heavier than I expected but considering the excellent build quality, water proofing (it can be submerged up to one meter for 30 minutes!), and that it floats makes the physical dimensions a reasonable trade off. I like the LED flashlight built into the side as I imagine it will be handy when the power goes out. I also like the alarm timer, useful if you want to take a quick nap and don't want to reset your alarm clock. I would recommend this radio to anyone!

Purchased this shower radio after returning a Sony model. Although bulkier than I expected, this radio has lived up to my expectations for a shower radio. The sound quality and reception is good and after a full year hanging under the shower head, it is still going strong. The extra features (clock and timer) are useful although I can't imagine anyone would have a use for the emergency light. It also doesn't use up batteries as quickly as I anticipated. Although pricier than the Sony shower radion, this radio is definitely worth it!
Update: Three years after writing my original review and the radio is still going strong! Have dropped it a few times with no apparent damage to the unit. This is an excellent shower radio!!

Dear Shower Radio Friends - If you are looking for a fabulous Shower Radio, look no further! Our Family loves music in the Bathroom, period! I've owned Sony and Sanyo in the past, but neither has even remotely compared to our Sangeon! This Sangeon is plenty loud enough, even at #12 on Vol. level, iluminate screen, easy to read buttons, and a great clock with seconds. We keep our on the wall, not in the shower because we just want music in Bathroom! Clarity and strength in all channels, which is the ultimate key! Definitely worth the price now that I own it....I've payed more for others and had less to show for it! Look no further....5 Stars without a doubt!
