I really like this radio. The tuner is sensitive and the sound is great. You can switch from earphones to speaker, which is a nice feature. Also, the locking function is cool, much like an Ipod's. I particularly like the timer, which turns the radio off after 90 minutes. This is a good feature for anyone, like me, who falls asleep while listening in bed. It saves the batteries.
I would recommend this radio to anyone looking for high quality at a reasonable price.

This is my THIRD DT200V - need I say more?
But you can ask me "why three??". Because the first two died the same death after about 5 or 6 yrs of use: the blue "on/off" switch died (I think) and could not turn the thing on :-(
But being the best little radio around (I love to listen to "GMA" in the morning while I run around getting ready for work) I keep replacing them with the same, hoping that Sangean will improve/fix that pesky "on/off" switch sometime soon.

I looked for almost a year trying to find a portable radio (with ONLY a radio) that could get the same reception as my old one. This is the only radio I have found that is able to find a signal and keep the station coming in strong whether you're walking around your house, or walking around the neighborhood.
Battery life is great, I use this unit twice daily for about 45 mins at a time and I only have to replace the batteries about once every 4 months.

If you read my review a month ago I guess I was a bit too hard on Sangean Radio but since then a very nice man from Sangean has called me and talked to me and he is right every once in a while one comes off the line with a minor defect,he is sending me a new radio and I thank him for calling me and I will buy from them again and recommend anyone else to do the same , a great little radio and great Service after the sale ! thank you

I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH THIS PRODUCT. WHEN I PLACED THE ORDER I HAD MY DOUBTS, BUT ONCE I STARTED TO USE IT I REALIZED IT WAS WORTH HAVING BOUGHT IT. IT HAS VERY NICE SOUND TAKING IN CONSIDERATION THE SIZE. WHEN I USE WITH THE EARPHONES(INCLUDED)IS LIKE LISTENING A VERY EXPENSIVE WALKMAN. I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. IT IS VERY HARD TO GET IN THE MARKET A DIGITAL AM/FM RADIO AS GOOD AS THIS ONE. THE RECEPTION IS ALSO GOOD.
