I have been very pleased with the Sangean Portable. It is small enough that I can take it with me on my bike rides. It has very sensitive tuners and picks up stations that none of my other radios can touch. The ability to set one of the buttons to sequence through your favorite stations is quite handy. The lock switch is absolutely necessary, otherwise a accidental touch of one of the little buttons can change the settings and interrupt one's listening. The batteries seem to last a long time. This Sangean DT200VX pocket radio is by far the best of some 6 radios I have owned! The reception is superb. I can even receive fairly clear reception inside stores, warehouses and even in a Radio Shack store with all it's electronic interference. Battery life is very good. For it's size, the speaker is very good quality. I love the 90 minute shut off timer. The "MY" favorites channel selection is a great feature, allowing you to change to only the channels you have stored in memory. This is a real quality radio.Customer Review: A Super Performer!

I've sampled a lot of portable radios over the years; this one really takes the cake. It is most excellent for sensitivity and selectivity, not only on FM, but also on the AM and TV bands. Battery life is great, sound quality is good and the unit has all the features I could want, including many presets and a stereo-mono switch for FM. It's clear that a lot of thought went into the design of this little radio and it's good to see that at least one manufacturer still produces a quality pocket radio.Customer Review: Sangean DT200VX

Actually, the Sangean DT200VX exceeded my wife's and my expectations for such a small radio. It has better AM reception than the Sangean DT220 that it is replacing and is very easy to operate as a bedtime radio. With it's lighted display and the MY button that allows you to select the stations that you programmed (in my wife's case: AM, FM, and local TV), it's easy to use in the dark. This little radio is my constant companion on my daily walks. The TV sound capability allows me to listen to the Early Show while I walk. It is interesting that the CBS program is just as enjoyable to listen to as it is to watch on CBS.
The push button preset stations can be accessed without a glance at the dial.
compact and well designed this little gem is well worth it's price. The sound is wonderful and every dial and switch are where they should be.
