I purchased this product about a month ago. Thus far, I am very satisfied with the radio's performance. I use it mainly when I am walking and although the FM stereo will occasionally fade out, it is for a short moment. That also happens on some stations while driving my truck. I love the clarity of not only the FM but the AM stations. Although I haven't used the option, you can listen to VHS stations in your area. It may seem pricy for a portable radio but in my opinion, it has been thus far worth the price. The radio is well designed and has some wonderful features including it's design. If there is a negative, it would be the non-availability of a protective cover.
Finally, I ordered through Amazon and was amazed that I received the product with 7 days. Another great job through Amazon.

The Sangean DT-210V is not perfect, and it is much more expensive than the Sony and Panasonic conventional analog tuning "transistor radios" that I have used before this model. But this radio is much smaller, lighter, and the digital tuning definitely locks in the stations better than the old school units.The miniplug type wire antenna works well, and is also less bulky and heavy than conventional telescoping rigid antennas.The sound quality coming from the built-in speaker is also comparable or better than the bigger and heavier units. If you need an external speaker pocket radio, the extra cost of this unit is well worth it. I use it nearly every day for my exercise bicycle rides.It uses AAA batteries, so do yourself and the environment a favor, and buy a couple of sets of rechargeable nimh batteries.Customer Review: LOVE THIS RADIO - HAVE 3 OF THEM NOW!

This is my 3rd Sangean DT-210 model radio. I have them in various rooms in my home. What I like most is the size of the radio - nice and small and you can't find them in the store this small. I take it to baseball games and it will fit in my purse. I mostly listen to sports talk radio so I wanted a radio that got an AM station real well and this one fits the bill! Tuning is easy - just press the plus or minus on the front and/or the Band button. There is separate memory for storing AM & FM stations. Sound quality is excellent, you can't always find radios that have a speaker - I did not want a radio where you had to use ear phones, although you can use this one with earphones. I would definitely buy another if these go-worth the price. I hope the company does not discontinue this model.Customer Review: Great Radio For AM Talk Listening

I mostly listen to AM talk radio, as well as some FM, and I bought this radio because I had seen information on the Web that it had superior AM reception to all other pocket radios. I have found that these claims were correct. The radio is capable of pulling in clear AM signals that other pocket radios I have owned will not touch. I am now able to listen inside of buildings, and pull in distant stations quite easily.
I also like the built-in speaker option, although I rarely use it. Like all AM radios it is subject to interference, and there is a period around sunset when there is a lot of interference, but it is far better than other radios its size, and in fact better than some table-top radios I have owned. As a bonus the sound on FM is quite good as well.

I love this little radio. I listen to AM talk radio all day and I work in a big office building surrounded by other office buildings. When I ordered this radio, I was worried that I might not be able to get good reception, since I had a number of bigger radios on my desk before and I had to keep turning the radio and the antenna to try to get it to work. This radio is great. The sound is perfect and I love the fact that I can "lock" it so I don't accidently turn it off or change the station or the volume as I work.
I only have two issues with it...1)I wish it could be recharged instead of having to buy a Costco size pack of 50 AAA batteries, 2)it turns off randomly 3 to 4 times a day. It only takes me a second to turn it back on, but it's a bit of a pain.
