The Sonido Radio has excellent reception of A.M. stations,F.m. and weather are also of high quality. The set is relatively small ,so it fits in places other radios of similar quality would not.The inputs for earphones and other external devices(eg.mp3) is handy.I was aware that the TV stations would no longer be available,but this was no loss. Our new cats knocked my old Sony radio off of a shelf and broke it. I replaced it with the Sangean Sonido Radio and I couldn't be happier. It is everything the old radio was and more. It is solid and attractive and best of all has excellent sound quality for its place and purpose. I definitely got my money's worth. I only wish the cats had broken the old radio sooner.Customer Review: An amazing and versatile radio

I'm completely satisfied with this radio. The quality both in construction and sound is outstanding. The ease of operation and simplicity of set-up is again top in my book and I've researched many before deciding on this product. I GO TO SLEEP WITH IT ON AND LISTEN TO IT WHEN I CAN'T SLEEP. I lOVE THE QUALITY AND STURDINESS. ONLY WISH IT HAD A HANDLE LIKE A PORTABLE TO MAKE IT EASIER TO PICK UP BECAUSE IT IS HEAVY. I am very happy with my purchase. This radio is a great size, provides great sound, and can run exclusively on batteries - all exactly what I had searched for in a radio for our newly redecorated master bath. I would highly recommend this radio and will probably purchase an additional radio for use in a second home.
