This product is just what I was looking for. Our bedroom of our house was in a shadow zone and on any given day we could get a radio station from 250 miles away or 50 miles away and with static, but not the preferred one that was 35 miles away. This radio is able to get signals from the closest radio station and after a month...no static. I had been looking for an alarm clock radio but I now know that I needed a good radio with an alarm component. I think it is easy to use, and am happy that so many people reviewed this radio/alarm.Customer Review: a good radio for the money

I was looking for a small portable am/fm radio with built-in speaker when I found the Sangean Sonido on line. It had more features than I needed (weather band and TV audio links), but it provided excellent am/fm reception with good audio quality for a small speaker, something I have had difficulty finding. Don't expect surround sound, but do expect a good value for the money. If batteries last as long as other reviewers have reported, it completes the good-deal package.Customer Review: Very happy consumer

I searched far and wide and listened to several other radios before purchasing this one. There are many radios which are less expensive but they seem to all have a "tinny" sound. The Sangean Sonido has a really good sound and is very easy to use. I was in the market for a battery powered radio to use during power outages and this one fills the bill. For the price, I am very satisfied. Recommended. Good value.

The Sangean Sonido radio is a great product! You get 4 TV channels, AM/FM and weather alert and they come in perfectly clear. Sound is great! The only trouble I have is keeping a hold on the channels when I preset them, turn radio off and later turn it back on. But it doesn't take any trouble to reset them! Great for listening to TV and news while you're doing dishes!! Shipping was fast too!Customer Review: radio fan

I've own the radio for a few weeks and am very pleased with it. I think the sound on both AM and FM are excellent for a small radio, though, of course, AM is not nearly as good as FM. One unexpected bonus with this radio is that it can be connected to my stereo system and provide through the headphone output and it provides credible stereo sound.
Highly recommended!
