This is so far the best clock radio that I've owned (I've owned about 5 in 40 years). It's attractive and has some very nice features. I did have to read the instruction book before I could use it but once that was done I've found that it's very easy to operate. I love the preset buttons, my last radio also had them but this one has twice as many. It's not the cheapest clock radio out there by far but it's seems to be a very good one and worth the price.
P.S. The Atomic Clock is also a VERY NICE feature, you know the time is always right.

I live in the country outside of Santa Fe, NM and have had difficulty receiving our local NPR station signal. Sangean now brings KSFR equal in signal strength to other stations, allows me to toggle between pre-sets with ease, has great fidelity, is ALWAYS on time, and I didn't have to pay for bells and whistles I don't need, e.g. an iPod dock and a CD player. I can't speak to the many alarm clock features as I am retired and love not having deal with wakeup times. This little dynamo has a lot going for it.Customer Review: Exactly what I was hoping for

This is our second Sangean radio. The first one is several years old, still working very well and the reception is excellent. So, when I needed to get a bedside radio / alarm clock, I was pleased to see that Sangean had what I was looking for. The reception is great and it's easy to set up favorite stations and switch between them. The led display is easy to see without being too bright. The sound quality is very good. I am happy with all of the radio's functions and highly recommend it.Customer Review: Great clock radio

This has been a great clock radio--versatile, good sound and signal pickup on both FM and AM, works well with my MP3, and kinda cool looking. The progressive alarm (starts at low volume and gets increasingly louder) is much more civilized than the usual shocking wake up of my previous alarm clocks. Sangean RCR-22 AM/FM Atomic Clock Radio
Bought my wife one last year; liked it so well I bought one for myself. Little difficult to program, but once I get used to it I'll probably like it even better. I'm a stickler about a clock or watch showing the correct time, so the atomics are right down my alley.
