Customer Review: A Life Saver For Transferring Files to my Mac

I originally bought the MicroMate reader so that I could transfer files from our Canon HD Digital Camcorder to iMovie on my Mac. It works flawlessly for that. What I use it most frequently for now, though, is for transferring photos from the digital cameras of family and friends to iPhoto. It has been wonderful to be able to take the memory card from cameras of people who visit and easily download any of their pictures to my computer. It is so much simpler than trying to have someone email me photos - especially because I can see everything on their card and choose which ones I want (instead of making them guess which ones I'd want). Inexpensive, compact, and very, very useful.
