This is a great product the only thing that disappointed me was the fact that my PRINTER already has a card reader. God I'm so stupid. I bought it because my macbook didn't have a card reader and all along my PRINTER has a card reader. Practically every printer now has a card reader.
I thought the grip on the bottom of the reader wasn't enough to hold and stay on my desk and the reader kept ending up in the back and sometimes falling.
Easy, plug and Go. No disk. Nothing just plug and it works right away. Works on Macbook, Macbook Pro, Mac, etc. and of course on PC.

I bought this to consolidate to one card reader for my camera's CF cards and Palm Treo's SD cards. The build quality is surprisingly good given that's it's just a card reader - even a rubber bottom so it stays put on your desk. But, it's fast and easy to use as expected. I have not noticed the quirk the other reviewer mentioned. I just plug it in, drag over some files and unplug - no problems - system (XPpro SP2)recognizes the reader quickly. I should mention that I'm also using Sandisk media because that's what I already had - and they've been consistently good for years.Customer Review: Sandisk Extreme USB 2.0 Card Reader

I have several digital cameras as does my wife. I keep several external hard drives to keep several copies of our digital photos, which number in the 10,000's. I have found, however, there is a difference in the time it takes to take photos out of a camera, with older cameras seemingly taking forever. I purchased the Sandisk card reader out of frustration that an older Nikon D100 was causing me and I was exceedingly satisfied with the result. Now taking pictures off the disk takes seconds rather than many long minutes, and I couldnt be happier.Customer Review: Attractive and efficient

I chose this unit originally because my first card reader stopped working. I wanted a unit that would read both SD and (perhaps sometime in the future) CF cards. This unit is fast, compact, amd attractive. I also find it easy to get the SD card into and out of the slot, which was not the case with my previous unit. Doesn't take up much room on the desktop, comfortably solid in the hand when I need to pick it up (doesn't feel cheap or flimsy), and the USB cable disconnects, which makes it easy to pack up if I need to carry it with me.Customer Review: Nearly Perfect

I purchased this reader to speed the transfer of SDHC cards. Note that the photo on this website does not exactly match the product (or the photo on its box). The reader now clearly shows SDHC on the front of the reader. Using an older computer with an added USB 2 port (but without the corresponding faster bus), I was able to transfer at 13 MB/S using a SanDisk Extreme III 4GB card. The rated speed is a bit faster, but I'm very happy! Nice blue glowing light. No software to install. Great product, low price!
