Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of SanDiskŪ microSDHCTM 8GB Memory Card

Customer Review: Good to Go with PSP!
Summary: 5 Stars

I decided to try two of these 8GB cards along with New DUAL SLOT MicroSDHC to MS Pro Duo Adapter in Retail Package. Supports two MicroSDH or MicroSDHC cards up to 16GB Capacity Each. Converts Two MicroSD or MicroSDHC Cards To MS PRO DUO. SDHC to SONY MS Duo adapter after getting burned on two different Memory Stick Pro Duo's on a popular auction site. I was skeptical, but based on what I read on the Sony forums, these should work fine with my PSP. They were correct!

I now have just over 14 GB of usable space for games, music and movies on my PSP. Overall, with memory prices as volatile as they are, you will have a hard time finding a more flexible and affordable Memory Stick Pro Duo option out there.

***Just remember to format the cards in your PSP and not your computer/laptop.***

Customer Review: Large and In-Charge
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased this item for use in my new Env Touch as I wanted to really make use of its media capabilities.

Boy did I choose the right card. It requires no formatting nor setup for me to get it to work in my phone. Simply put it in and you're good to go.

For my PC, though, my card reading hardware doesn't exactly support SDHC cards above 4GBs, but my Env Touch basically doubles as a card reader, which works out nicely seeing as it is recognized in Vista easily.

I used Media Player to quickly sync my music from my PC to my Env Touch (with this card plugged into it) and it seamlessly copied over about 4GB of music in around 10 minutes or so.

So if you're looking for a good-sized MicroSD card, I'd definitely recommend this one. Just make sure you have the proper hardware that supports it or you won't be able to make use of this great, cheap MicroSD card!

Customer Review: SanDisk quality on the cheap!
Summary: 5 Stars

I ordered two of these to go in a PhotoFast MicroSDHC to MS Pro Duo Adapter. Supports two MicroSDH or MicroSDHC cards up to 16GB Capacity Each. for my PSP.

Both cards arrived well packaged with their own adapters etc. Following some other reviews here, I knew to format these after they were plugged into the Pro Duo Adapter and PSP.

I've been using the daylights out of these things since I got them a couple weeks ago, and they are still going strong. Decent read/write times even for copious amounts of data. Minor complaint I have is access time which is a fair bit longer than my older 1gb Pro Duo card, but that may be PSP-XMB related and not card-related.

Still a great deal being ~$20-30 cheaper than the nearest alternative: a 16gb pro duo card!

Customer Review: Small Card, Huge Storage Capacity!
Summary: 5 Stars

When I received this amazingly small 8 GB Micro SDHC card, I could not believe it! It is so tiny! I am using it for my 8 GB Sansa Fuze to extend the capacity to 16 GB and it works great. I put all of my videos on it and there is no trouble at all. When I plug my Sansa Fuze in with the Micro SDHC in it, it shows up as the external memory. You can choose if you want your items on the internal memory or the external memory. I advise you if you have a regular Micro SD card slot not a Micro SDHC slot, this card will not work! If you have a regular Micro SD slot, you can only put in a 2 GB card or less. With a Micro SDHC slot, you can put in any regular or HC Micro SD card. Overall, this card works excellent to expand memory in any Micro SDHC compatible device.

Customer Review: why get an iPhone
Summary: 5 Stars

I used to have an iPhone and it was a pain to move music and ringtones over to it because you had to use the synchronize feature with iTunes. I prefer to move my music manually, that's just who I am.
With this card I just plug it into my BlackBerry 8320 and then throw MP3s or even AAC files onto it into the appropriate music folder and they just show up. I have just as much space (if not more) than an iphone and it's much cheaper. I got this card for $17 after shipping and my BB was $99... way cheaper than an iPhone.

Plus I can just throw any song into the ringtones folder and then use it as a ringtone.

lots of space at a great price, looking forward to SDXC chips coming out... up to 2TB of storage!
