My SanDisk 16GB Ultra Cruzer Titanium Drive is a great electronic filing cabinet! I store myriad files, etcetera. They're always with me on my key keychain. It's far more convenient than carrying around my bulky laptop or net-book computer. Also, my Cruzer has a program launcher and drive security software features that offer me high comfort knowing that my data will be protected and deleted should I inadvertently lose the drive..and someone (unauthorized# attempts to access and read my files and data. I really like this product! I look forward to the day when SanDisk evolves the same drive to higher secondary storage capacities such as 32GB, 64GB, etcetera.
Lastly, Amazon is a great company! Their core capability and competitive value strong suit #as I continue to experience it time and time again) is finding, coalescing and partnering with myriad sources to deliver the highest value-chain experience and competitively priced products and services. It is truly an Amazon/Amazing experience! The total consumer experience, start-to-order-to-finish-to-delivered is exceedingly well managed...exceedingly well packaged...in a very "consumer end-user friendly" persona.
I have used Amazon for many years and many e-commerce shopping efforts. I ALWAYS come away feeling as if my best friend had helped and facilitated my online shopping experience. This time, Amazon's partnering company, [...], really caused me to say "JoWow!" They (Amazon and JoWow teamed) delivered my SanDisk 16GB titanium drive ahead of their promised delivery date! JoWow is one of the mamy "high quality" and "consumer service focused" operating partners they choose and use in their vertical SRM/CRM business model. JoWow delivered my order ahead of the scheduled delivery date and the product really exceeded my expectations! That's very refreshing given the nightmarish experiences we may at times be exposed to in many of today's Business -2-Consumer web-based electronic commerce sites that do little more than frustrate users attempting the simplest e-transactions.
In closing, my total Amazon/JoWow experience can best be described as Batman's youthful sidekick, Dick Grayson (aka Robin the Boy Wonder) would have said it: "Holy Amazon JoWow experience Batman!"

I love my Titanium Sandisk. I will only buy SanDisk Titanium. I have muliple flash drives but the SanDisk Titanium is my favorite. I own 2GB 4GB and now 16GB. I have dropped my flash drive and stepped on it by accident. It stll works. I could not do that with my plastic flash drives I would have destroyed all my precious information. I also love the password feature U3 software it comes with. This prevents prying eyes on sensitive information stored on the drive in case you forget your drive at work. The U3 software comes with all kinds of "on the go" software. I carry my own internet browser and Office applications email, around with me on my drive so I do not have to use the companies. I could go on and on about how much I love this flash drive. I could not be any happier. You will have to try one for yourself. I advise getting as much memory as you can afford. The more the merrier so you can download all your applications and still have room. I suggest the >Titanium< it's almost "Crush Proof" trust me on this you can't go wrong.

I own three SanDisk Cruzer Titanium flash drives (two 8gb and one 16gb). I highly recommend these products over other flash drives I have used. The retractable USB connection is an added plus over a "cap" which one can easily lose. Second, the durable titanium case makes accidental breaking unlikely. Third, the slightly heavier weight (over a plastic flash drive) makes it easy to tell whether or not the item is in your pocket. The products have not yet failed, and I use them daily on a frequent basis. I wanted a flash drive that was tougher than normal but reasonably priced, and this 16GB Cruzer fits the bill. The silver body is way tough, and the little key ring circle is good too. I keep this dude hooked onto my key ring and it holds up to crawling around under tractors while doing maintenance, cutting firewood, clunking around inside of equipment, and throwing down on the counter at the end of a day. The download speed is totally fast, and 16GB of storage is actually HUGE! It holds all my PDF maintenance manuals, pictures, scanned work documents, and whatever I want to put on it.
The one thing I can't figure out yet is how to turn on the password protection. It doesn't pop up when plugged into my Macbook Pro.

I buy the titanium cruzers because they're sturdier than plastic USB drives. I also own the 4GB version and never had to worry about it getting broken or even dinged when I dropped or stepped on it. This drive is similar in appearance to the other titanium cruzers, except that its LED is orange.
I verified that it doesn't require drivers on XP or Vista and is assigned a drive letter in Windows explorer.
The 7" x 0.5" x 5" dimensions listed are the dimensions of the blister pack, not the actual product. The cruzer's dimensions are 2.25" x 0.25" x 0.75". It doesn't extend much past the keys on my keychain. Just for reference, most house keys are 2" long.
