Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of SanDisk Ultra Compact Flash 2GB Card (SDCFH-002G-A11) (Retail Package)Customer Review: SanDisk - worth every penny! Summary: 5 Stars
I am quite new to digital photography and recently purchased a Canon Rebel XT (8.0 Megapixels) and a SANDISK 2.0 GB Ultra II CF Card. I debated getting a cheaper card, but after reading many reviews and specs, decided to pay a bit more for the SANDISK card. I am been extremely happy with the card, allowing me to take up to ~700 photos (highest JPEG setting). Furthermore, and probably most impressive, was the fact that I could get 3 shots/sec for ~15 shots total without ever having to stop for processing or lifting my finger off the shutter button. I don't have cheaper CF cards, nor do I ever plan to buy one now that I have seen the performance that this card offers.
Customer Review: Awesome SD Card!!! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this card specifically for my newest digital camera (Casio Exilim Z700) because it was recommended for higher megapixel cameras. It works really well and the resolution on the images is great. It can hold about 850 pictures on a 7 megapixel camera. My Windows XP-based computer recognized the card right away the first time I put it in (I have a built-in SD card reader in my laptop).
I would recommend this card to anyone who has a 7 MP camera or higher because it can handle higher resolution pictures, has the same high quality that other SanDisk cards have (I also own a regular 2 GB SD card and a 1 GB micro SD card in my SLVR phone).
Customer Review: Name-Brand CF at a Great Price Summary: 5 Stars
Admittedly, I initially bought this CF after reading the reviews of others and because the price had dipped down to a great price ($40).
I was pleasantly surprised with this CF. The speed is much faster than my old CF cards. I have switched it back and forth between cameras and have done multiple downloads and it has performed flawlessly.
I have just bought a 10-megapixel camera and will be using it now with that camera.
This card outperforms my previous cards, which were lesser-known brands. From now on I will stick to the big names. Hopefully in a short time, the 4GB card will be dropping in price to become the new standard.
Customer Review: Fast, large, and inexpensive Summary: 5 Stars
This card provides fantastic capacity and speed for the price offered. I've seen the exact same card at stores for over twice the price on Amazon ($31.93 when I purchased it at Amazon, $60-$80 at stores). Further, though I am using it on an very old camera (Nikon Coolpix 995), it appears to make the camera more response when taking pictures (though that could easily be my imagination), while allowing me to take far more pictures than I generally take (well over 4500 on lowest JPEG setting, over 1200 highest JPEG setting, and over 200 on TIF). All in all, a great card at any price, made even better by Amazon's low price. Highly recommended.
Customer Review: Can never have too much memory Summary: 5 Stars
I thought that I was buying too much memory, but I always think that and then later think again. I bought a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi that does jpeg compression. What I didn't know at the time is that I would choose to use the RAW format as much as possible. Flipping that switch really turns on the power but the price is memory. Fortunately I can still capture 200 photos and then maximize them when I get them back to my PC. I had no idea how much difference it would make to start from the RAW, but now I know and I'm so glad I got the 2GB CF.
So if you're thinking about a high megapixel machine, spring for the memory.
