Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of SanDisk Sansa m250 2 GB MP3 Player (Black)Customer Review: pretty good for the money Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this a week ago, and have been very pleased with it's capabilities and operation. I really like the extra space (I still haven't filled up the 2gigs). The design makes it easy to use, and the screen is easily readable. I haven't figured out how to set up playlists yet, but I haven't tried, either.
The one feature that I don't like is the auto-shutoff feature. When I put it on pause, it only waits about thirty seconds before shutting down. I think this is a good feature in that it helps you save battery power, but at the same time, it does take about 20seconds to boot the thing up, so it can be inconvenient.
And the thing someone wrote about it not working with Audible? I have had no problems with that (perhaps they fixed the problems between November and now). I have two separate books downloaded from Audible, and both have loaded very well on the player.
Customer Review: Forget ipod (and the big money); Sandisk makes a great mp3 player Summary: 5 Stars
I feel like the only person in the world without a "real" ipod, but quite frankly, I feel like the Sandisk gives me everything I need at a fraction of the price. This is the 3rd model I've bought (I had the 1/2 gig, the 1 gig, now I'm up to the 2 gig). I think I have about 300 songs on my current model.... loading the player is really easy (I use Windows Media Player), and the navigation on the player is a scinch. And it takes "normal" AAA batteries (alkaline or rechargeables). If you're considering the ipod shuffle, you should seriously consider this model instead.... it gives you a lot more features for a fraction of the price.
My only suggestion is that Sandisk always include white earbuds instead of black ones, regardless of the color of the player itself (they did on the last 2 models, but not on this most recent one). Black earbuds look dated.
Customer Review: SanDisk 2 GB MP3 Player Summary: 5 Stars
I love my player!! My brother and I bought one each for eachother on Christmas, the minute we got them we were able to use them without even reading directions. Downloading music was a breeze, and there are so many different features you just can't go wrong! I take mine EVERYWHERE, the gym, in my (non-stereo) car and I even plug it into my stereo at night. I currently have 163 songs on it and I still have 1.2 GB left. The battery life is awesome too, I did not change the battery for 2 weeks...and thats listening to it for 2-8 hours at a time! After almost 3 weeks my MP3 froze up because of one of the songs I downloaded, I contacted SanDisk and they tried every possible solution, in the end I had to return it, but I contacted Amazon and I had a replacement before I even mailed back the old one. Since then I have had NO problems! I love this little thing!
Customer Review: Great Product for the price ! Summary: 5 Stars
I own four (I use two and my wife and son use one each) SanDisk digital players, two of which are the 2GB model. I have hundreds of songs loaded on them in WMA format. The controls are extemely easy to use and the sound with Koss Titanium lightweight headphones is fantastic. The SanDisks are easy to operate, navigate, and "sync" to from my computer with just a USB connection and I prefer the singe AAA battery instead of charging system. When it gets low, just put in a new battery. The SanDisk is a very inexpensive alternative to more costly iPods and digital players, especially if you just want to listen to music. You can also get a docking station made by SanDisk which sounds fine, as well as integrate it into your vehicle's sound system if it has the "line in" capability. All around, a great little digital music player with a lot of features for your music.
Customer Review: excellent little player Summary: 5 Stars
I've had this about a month now and performs well. Great sound, FM radio, voice recorder, what more could you ask for. I get about 16 hours of battery life per AAA. I've also dropped it a few times already and holds up well unlike my previous Rio Nitrus which stopped working after i dropped it.
There is no software to install for Windows XP and its simple drag and drop. The navigation is straight forward you can play by artist, album, and other methods. For some reason though, it doesn't seem to recognize the track numbers in the id3 tag even though it sees everything else fine so it plays them out of order. I believe it plays it in the sequence you put it in the player.
The FM reception is mediocre but the voice recorder is excellent. Also, the picture is a little misleading in its thickness. Its about 3/4 of an inch thick.
