Customer Review: Perfect for my simple needs

Short version: If all you need is something cheap and simple to play a few albums or the radio while you do other stuff, this is perfect.
The rest:
I got this for the cheap price after my 2-year old Rio decided it wasn't ever gonna turn on again. It doesn't have much space, but since I only listen to a handful of albums at a time anyway, that doesn't matter at all. It's also got radio (an upgrade from what I'm used to) if you're REALLY bored with your songlist.
The radio is not perfect. I haven't played with it a ton, but if it's in your pocket and rotating a lot then the signal strength will vary from clear to static fairly frequently. I find keeping it in my hand so it's stable and I can easily find a new station is the best way to use it.
I'm not much of an expert on sound quality, but it's great if you just need something to listen to while traveling or at the gym.

I like this player very much.
First, it is very easy for using. I believe for any electronics, easy using is the first for user. Every step is so simple. You will never feel pain to find out how to use it.
Second, transfer songs is just copy and paste. That's it! Before I bought this player, I have a Sumsung 20G player. But transfer songs is so difficult. Many songs can't be transfered for no reason. But for this player, what you need to do is drag the songs and put it into player. Just like using a usb drive. Then, enjoy~~~~
Third, it can be used as a usb drive. I really need this function. I don't need to pay money for another 512M usb drive.
The last and very important thing is the sound is so great~~~~
The only pity for me is it can't be extended by SD card. If this works, I think that will be perfect for me.

I just bought this through Amazon and I love it. First, I am not a techno junkie who carries Laptop, Blackberry, and IPOD with every little gadgets known to man. With that said, I realized that I needed a MP3 player, since it is considerable upgrade from a tape or cd player.
I run about 3-6 times a week. I don't like to run with earphones when I am outside, but at least twice a week, I run on a treadmill. This MP3 is perfect for my indoor running. I stored about 100 MP3 songs and I am in my own world for 30-60 minutes. It is extremely light and comes with an armband. The battery life is long. When the juice runs out, then just swap the battery (it tells you how much battery juice you got left). It is a lot better than worrying about recharging.
So, if you are a simple guy who just want some music while exercising, then this is perfect for you. I hope this helped!!!

I really don't understand why people are so attached to Ipods and Zunes when this is equally as great but at a much more affordable price! I bought this for my husband and we've both agreed that it was well worth its price and can't believe how great of a deal we got! Yeah, it doesn't hold a ton of music, but we convert to WMA, and 16 hours is good enough! Its easy to delete and put more on (especially with a 2.0 USB port)! I cannot stress enough how this is such a great buy!
I did some research on FM transmitters (because many of them would not work with his car). I went on ebay and found eforcity.com had a generic digital transmitter listed to work with Sansa, and thought, "why not?" since it was only $4!!! It works great and I couldn't be happier! Oh, and just in case you're wondering, I added in about the transmitter for those with similar issues!

So yeah, it's not really asthetically pleasing, but for the price you can't really beat it. I bought this so that I could have an MP3 player that I could run with without (1) worrying that I was going to destroy $200+ dollars worth of electronics with sweat/rain/snow/accidental dropping, and (2) worrying that oops I didn't re-charge the battery before a run. It is perfect for these two things. It has been through rain, 90+ temps, snow and anything else I can dish out for two years and it still works great. A few downsides.....the FM tuner is pretty much useless, the snaps on the armband rust after awhile, it's impossible to find a replacement armband, and it could really use some more space. If you are looking at this product for running I'd say go for it, but get the model with a bit more space. If you hate it or destroy it after a few months you are only out 25 bucks.
