Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of SanDisk Sansa m230 512 MB MP3 Player (Blue)

Customer Review: love this player
Summary: 5 Stars

I have had fancier mp3 players from i pod shuffle to creative zen stone mosiac but by far this smaller 512 San disk is my favorite player.
I do not need a special usb for this one. It's size is perfect for not taking up much room in your pocket or purse. The video screen is easily readable.
The fancier ones do not have a you can replace it battery. To me besides the features the fact that is a simple triple a battery is very nice .
I did try the shuffle and hate i tunes.
Since i already have an extensive mp 3 collection this works very well with drag and drop and change things out when i want to.
I ended up getting 5 of these for x mass gifts and got glowing reports on how much easier they are to deal with then other players....
If you want something simple to work with your already have collection this is it. Best part is if something happens to it you will not kick yourself forever since the price is great!

Customer Review: Look no further for an MP3 player, you got it.
Summary: 5 Stars

Excellent performance, I've been using it for 3 months now, nothing (even earphones) is broken. I bought it from a retail store. The first one malfunctioned. I returned for this one. Works perfectly ever since.

And for folks want a large storage MP3 player (1-2GB), think again, if you just want an MP3 player, then go for a 512 MB one because

1. There's a high chance for large-storage MP3 player to malfunction. Period.
2. You'll find a hard time surfing to find your one favorite song (512MB- 233 songs are pretty enough annoyance for me to go through the list). If you feel the lack of space, simply delete those songs you don't feel like hearing anymore.
3. If you're some type of lazy, then check the iPod section.

Additionally, this is not some flashy things functioned as jewelry for "stylish" boys and girls, if you wanna look "hot", again, try the iPod section. This player is for pratical use.

Customer Review: Great Little MP3 Player
Summary: 5 Stars

This MP3 player is very good value for the money. It uses 1 AAA battery, which lasts quite a while. It can store about 8 hours of music or pod casts, or voice recordings. The sound on this player is good, but that will also depend on what kind of ear buds you use. The ear buds that come with the player are pretty good. Using a cheaper ($2) pair of buds, the sound was a little tinny.

Both the radio and recorder work very well. I had no problem understanding how to navigate the radio.

The only negative thing to say about the SanDisk Sansa M230 512 MB MP3 Player is the instruction booklet, which really does not give info on how to download music or pod casts. (save to media player of your choice & drag & drop), pretty simple, once you figure it out.
All and all I am very please with this little blue player, Next year I will upgrade to one with a larger memory, and will more that likely stick with the SanDisk brand.

Customer Review: Great Little Player!
Summary: 5 Stars

This was my first mp3 player and i have to say that i am pretty impressed. It has great battery life and transfers music quickly and easily. I have had it for about six months now and havent expierenced any major problems with it. I am a little dissappointed though because the little display screen cracked so now when the player is turned on all you see is a blank screen with a giant blue dot in the middle. I would reccomend it for some one with a small music collection because it only holds around 127 songs. I have a quite a big collection so i am thinking about getting the 2 gb player, but if you have never owened an mp3 player before i would strongly suggest getting one of these! They are very easy to learn how to use and are also very tough! {mine has been dropped countless times on tile and wood floors.} I would have only given this player 4 stars because of the cracked screen but it is just so great that i had to give it 5!

Customer Review: Especially for first timers, this is your player
Summary: 5 Stars

I've never had a personal MP3 before, so I found this one at erwincomputers, via Amazon for just under $24, including shipping. Its a good intro to the world of MP3 and WMA, loaded onto, basically a flash drive with a player.
This player in particular is easy to operate in both transferring Windows Media files and replaying them. Also, it's durable and nearly foolproof in that it just continues to play faithfully when the controls are locked. It comes with a clear vinyl cover w/beltloop, but I just lock the controls and drop it upside-down into my shirt or jacket pocket. I doesn't interfere with most activities. Even if I ever decided to upgrade, I can't see any reason not to have one or two of these on hand.
Oh yes, and the sound was much more dynamic than I had guessed. You can hear all parts of the music in proper proportion and the little (cheapo) ear buds you get with the player are actually pretty good.
