The SanDisk Sansa c240 1GB MP3 Player is one of the best players for the price. It is real easy to use and downloads are fast and very good quality. Excellent volume control and a pretty nice pair of earphones.
I use it at work daily and I work in a noisy manufacturing building. This device cuts right through the noise to give you a clear sound and the battery life is far better than most. This is a five star product and I would reccommend it to anyone who wants a good MP3 player for a reasonable price. It's lightweigt too. It would be perfect if it came with a small carrying case.

This is great for those looking for a non bells and whistles kind of mp3 player. I got it to listen to music in the car and at the gym. The menu system was pretty easy to get used to.
In the car I can easily reach for the charger cord and pull the player up and hit the skip button without thinking or taking my eyes off the road. I drop things in the car so I like being able to do that.

OK, so it IS my first MP3 player...but I looked and looked so long I just wasn't sure, so I decided to go with what I thought to be a good entry level product. Staples ran these onsale for 59.99 (after rebates) so I took the plunge. I had read reviews of poor FM reception (one thing I wanted) but I was pleasantly surprised. It did take a couple of hours for us to figure out the software, but that is probably because this whole MP3 thing is so new to us. But alas, sound quality, speed, even the earbuds were good....now I only wish I could find a cute case/cover!Customer Review: Affordable and effective.

This thing does everything I want it to. It's easy to use so I don't know what anyone else is talking about. I figured every single feature out within about 10 minutes of owning it and haven't looked at the user manual at all.
The color screen is a little cheap looking, but who really cares. This thing does everything an MP3 player less than $100 should do, and more.

i bought this item and this mp3 player is the best you can store about 400 songs and with the sd slot for more memory you can go wrong also the fm radio is superb i recommend anyone to buy this mp3 player i had a ipod and it crashed my dell this one is simple to use no software and u have the option of a wall charger or directly from cpu item comes with usb cable and a cd for photos which you dont need i give this product a well deserved 10 and also the sound is exceptional
