I purchased the SanDisk Sansa c240 1 GB MP3 Player (Black)a couple of weeks ago, and I am surpised.
This MP3 player is superior to all those ipods. It has excellent sound, easy to set up. I didn't have to install any software. The coolest thing of the c240 is the microSD slot, I purchased the micro card and I have stored all my music without any issues. I love it.
I am happy with my Sansa c240. I will highly recommend it.
By the way, I am taking the c240 to Europe in a few days..I am sure it will be a great help during the long flight.

My son really wanted an I-Pod Nano, but it is expensive. So,I researched for other MP3 players and found this one to very comparable and 1/2 the price. After receiving it, it was extremely easy to download songs, and my 11 year old son can do it himself. My step-son, on the other hand, did get an I-Pod Nano, and has had problems with it from the beginning, and it took him awhile to figure out how to download. Comparing the two, for my son, there is plenty of room for all the music he wants and then some, there is an FM tuner which the I-Pod does not come with, it has a very nice look to it, and seems very durable. I highly reccomed this product.Customer Review: great buy

Comparing the price of other mp3 players(including ipod)with the same option this is one of the best. It is super easy to put your music on it just by drag and drop or by using Window Media Player(which automatic sync to the player and it is self explanatory from there). ALl of the option work great and I haven't seen any problems with it. It is suprising quick at loading or deleting music. The button take a little of getting use to so remember to read the directions on the CD they gives you. It also have a very smooth and pretty finish so I would recommend a cover for it if you are like me who hate when your stuff get scratch.Customer Review: Nice Unit, Great Price!

We purchases this MP3 player after having repeated problems with our iAudio U2 device (stay away from it, seriously!). So far, no issues or problems with this little guy. We purchased the extra warrenty on this one so we wouldn't get burned like we did on the last one!
It is compact, yet easy to use. I like the fact that it does not have a joystick and instead just regular buttons. The display/graphics are not outstanding so if you are looking for that, you might want to upgrade. BUT, if you want a unit that is small, does what it says it will, and has good sound this is a great buy for the money!

This MP3 player is lightweight, easy to use, and has great sound quality.
Pros:
-Great sound quality
-Good battery life
-Easy to use
-Supports Rockbox (play the original doom, gameboy games, and even videos)
-Has a recovery mode
-FM radio and recording
Cons:
-None for me so far.
I'm really glad it has a recovery mode. The first time I installed Rockbox I managed to corrupt the bootloader. Then when I fixed that, the internal memory was corrupt, so I had to boot into Linux and fix it while it was in manufacturing mode.
