True, this memory card is a bit pricy. But I am a firm believe that you get what you pay for. I'm glad I bought a SanDisk SD memory card, as they have a good reputation. You could always find cheaper ones out there but you might risk the chance of it being poorer quality. The pictures upload pretty quickly with this SD card, so it was worth the money overall.Customer Review: Fast - and wash resistant

Had one already; was happy with it because of the speed. Other cards actually delayed my picture shooting.
Then I lost it, and purchased this same card again; after receiving the replacement I found the first one but decided to keep the second one anyway. The first one had gone through a laundry wash and dry cycle, and still works fine. Recommended!

I received this in a few days, put it in my powershot and am still taking pictures and video 3 weeks later. I used it on a 2 week vacation with my kids and took a lot of action shots. Some reviews that I read prior to my purchase made me hesitant that I would get it and it would not work. I had no problems, plus I have a great camera. Bought for new digital camera. Have now owned it for many months--maybe 6? And have had no problems. Gives lots of flexibility for taking long movies that I can edit down and email to the grandparents. Down side is that you can take SO MANY PICTURES (yay!) and then you end up needing more and more hard drive space! But at about $.55 a G, who cares!Customer Review: Speed costs

Although higher priced than its counterparts, this card is fast. With pictures, I'm now able to shoot multiple shots a second at a time. When shooting videos with my camera, I've noticed that I no longer need to wait so long for it to write to the card. I reccommend formatting these cards quite often in order to maintain speed. I'm satisfied.
