When I bought this product I was worried because my previous card (an old one with 256 Mb) had problems and I lost a lot of pictures. This one is fine. I've used Sandisk cards in several models of Canon cameras without any trouble. They offer fast read/write speeds, they've held up well to frequent use, and have never faltered, even in extreme temperatures. As grandparents we went to Disney for a 5 night stay. One of our objectives was to take as many photos as we could for the up-north grandkids. Rather than use a 2 GB card or a 4 GB card we elected to go the 1 GB route. We purchased 2 SanDiak 1 GB Utra cards and are pleased with the results. Have used this card exclusively for about a year and have not had one problem. Has handled maybe 1,500 images and many videos from our Canon S3 IS with ease. Video stored to the card is excellent due to the write speed. Would recommend without hesitation.
